Tom is not one of my idols, not even close, man!!! For goodness' sake, no one is saying you wanted to undermine Tom (who indeed lifts certain riffs from Page... plagiarism stuff!!!)... I just don't understand where the analogy between "Freedom" and "Kashmir" is!!! If he says so... well... by the way, it seems to me there’s a song by RATM that is very similar to "Kashmir," but it's not "Freedom"... damn, I can't remember.

Not to be a party pooper, but...donjunio, where the hell do you see the analogy between Kashmir and Freedom by RATM?! Kashmir is a chromatic progression of power chords, Freedom is a nice riff (even though there were already a ton of riffs like that around) pentatonic on the 5th and 7th frets!!!!! I don’t know.
