David Lynch Eraserhead

Come on, Dave, what the hell are you laughing at... I really didn’t want to give him one, also because I don’t care about the grades... Listen, Poletti, if you say that movies can lack a plot, then I’ll put myself in timeout for this silly expectation of mine... thanks for the average viewer... thank goodness there are geniuses of your intellectual caliber... every consideration you make about me is pointless, you don't know me and you’d do better not to judge me... also because with that tone you can easily go wherever you imagine... I didn’t like it. Period! I also explained why, and I certainly won’t start listing the movies that someone like you might judge as high profile just because I don’t care about what you think... go play your little game with someone else!

Sorry, jerk, I didn’t mean to rate it one star, especially since you say the right thing in the last line...even though I’ll never understand what there is to love!

I'm going against the tide, and like Fantozzi, I say that ERASERHEAD is a huge load of crap... I simply can't stand Lynch and all those who get off on thinking "what was he trying to communicate, what dark message lies behind his works".... to me, he's a poor jerk and his films are a bunch of nonsense (except for Elephant Man)... ridiculous, pompous, intellectually pathetic... the larva/monster son is the peak of it all... besides, there's never any half-justification for why it should be a masterpiece, other than a fake and haughty intellectual claim... okay, GO AHEAD AND CRUCIFY ME!
Kenny Wayne Shepherd 10 Days Out - Blues From The Backroads

I already knew it, hal, also because one of my favorite versions is with Gary Moore and B.B. together... truly a gem... but the song is already a gem by itself!!!
As for the rest, Kenny's paternity is 100% SRVian, coincidentally... too bad he is not well-known because he is really a great musician!
Fun fact: "blue on black" was used (just like "nutshell") in an episode of the second season of The SHIELD, which is better than a movie and better than any series seen in 100 years of TV (at least for me...)... it has nothing to do with this, but it was like that... just for your information... See you soon, beauties!

To be honest, Kenny has been revitalizing the blues for quite a few years now...even though he had disappeared for a while (yeah, so young)...Hi Don, everything okay? Hal, always great choices and reviews!
Anyway, Don, if you want to listen to a gem from Kenny, I recommend "Blue on Black" from the album *Trouble Is...* The album is amazing too.

So here I say it and I repeat it... they sound amazing (the three of them), Danny is exceptional, Keenan has a beautiful voice, and they perform the songs excellently, but above all, they play for so little (say what you want, but an hour and a half is a shitty concert for me... Mr. Waters, with all his years, did a 3-hour concert at the Arena di Verona, the same goes for Pat Metheny, the same for Metallica (not the washed-up ones today, a few years ago)... an hour and a half without playing The Grudge, Parabola, Hooker, Lateralus etc....
