I don't know him, but hearing talk about Blur's experiments (formerly SUPER-RUFFIANS OF BRITPOP) doesn't convince me... I mean, these guys used to crack me up, then with 13 they definitely improved, even though the change in style stank from a mile away... in fact, Think Tank, despite the clear progress, did nothing but pick up the evolution of another band that is far more significant... a pizza for whoever guesses the name, it's that obvious! I admit, though, that the review is well written and almost makes me want to listen to it!

Hypertrophic? It means excessively developed... what the hell does hypertrophic mean when applied to an album (what are Tool or Floyd then?), especially a Nick Cave one? Tastes are tastes, and Murder Ballads may not be to everyone's liking, but it remains a stunning album... hence the reason some people have questionable tastes!

Easy, though I didn't give such a connotation to "little bourgeois and radical chic"... you’re probably right, they didn’t have anything new to say, but they express that nothing really well... 0 evolution, 0 effort in the sense of "how do we play it?" but a simple "Let’s play and see what comes out"! Nice attitude, good tracks, a few dips... if you wanted evolution, here there’s 0!
Ps Tom is the one from The Bend! I don’t know, I wasn’t expecting anything different... maybe it was a pain in the ass... but it took him 15 years... so a round of applause, others take much less!
