BUT you trash a beautiful song like Details in the Fabric, which you probably haven't even read the lyrics of (and it's worth it... as long as you understand it), branding it as a boring prom ballad worthy of the worst American Pie... and that means you didn't understand a damn thing about the song... for the rest, I agree with you... even though I'm not expecting anything new anymore from the singer-songwriter perspective...
