Nice analysis, but I don't agree with anything. Not to mention certain judgments; I would like to know who in the world decides what is useless or not, what is sincere or not (a typical radical chic complaint used by the usual idiot who seems to go to dinner with the author to find out that "it's not sincere")...
The album is an (for me) incredible compendium of many shades of Floyd, intimate and atmospheric, so much so that, as the reviewer says, it doesn't make sense to listen to it piece by piece, but only in its entirety...
The cover isn’t anything special for me either, but that's a matter of taste... I won't even comment on the production; I don't understand what needs to be refreshed, the album sounds good, sounds crystal clear, sounds like Floyd...
Well, the scathing reviews regardless are really a pain... I just say that they are on par with that of Ondarock, and for me, that’s a guarantee (of mediocrity...).

@nes: Probably yes, or maybe no, after all the engaged critics have torn it apart, but I hate engaged critics and also the sheep... yes, I think I understand what you mean, everyone has their favorites, for me just hearing Gilmour's guitar and Wright's piano feels like I've never heard anything or anyone more aligned with my idea of music (this happens with a few others, but I believe everyone has their own, and I'm not talking about fanaticism)... I was speaking of the courage to disregard and to propose music and a concept of music out of time in a sense (even though I hate the whole "out of time" discourse in music)... @gino: Well, you know who you're talking about...

From my phone, I can't reply to your message, anyway...yes, they are the two guitarists from Quest, I know...I've heard good things about them...rece?! Did you hear this? What do you think?! I don't know if it's really your style...but it seems incredible to me that after all these years they have the ability and the guts to make such an album...

Nes, I haven't heard it. If you tell me it's worth it, I'll dedicate myself to it: Ifloyd even managed to shake me out of a certain stupor...

I'm listening to it for the third consecutive time... wonderful album, more than anything else, more than commercial... I'm speechless... maybe it's just me who doesn't get it, but as far as I'm concerned, some people have no idea of the nonsense they write... And Divion Bell is anything but a bad album, you fools...

Nes has thrown so many at you that I'm surprised you can still write about Deb (alas...). Question: Why do you keep wasting your time and your culture with these writings that would only make Bondi or someone from his crew happy?

Commercially found an almost instrumental album in the year of grace 2014?
Truly marketing geniuses...
Given the review of Punisher, I’m sure it’s a good album.
Since they are still the PF, I’m sure it’s one of the best things anyone could have the chance to hear recently.
In case I’m wrong, can someone name great, great albums released recently, apart from the latest Deftones that I’ve played to death!
Gracias a todos... By the way, has that little piece of garbage review for Pun already been sent into oblivion? Thank goodness...

I don't mean to offend the reviewer, but the work being reviewed is for me a disgusting example (like the famous torn canvases of Lucio Fontana) of how intellectualism seeks to provide justifications or find something, a meaning, a sense that the common people cannot grasp, in nothingness. Pathetic. You can justify everything with "the journey," the same old nonsense, the journey! With the story of the journey, you can justify anything, even a concert of burps! Then they come to tell you that you're arrogant, that you don't know, that you don't understand. Art should be communication (or evoke emotions, so it should communicate anyway); in certain works, there is nothing of communication at all.

The book is a blast, read it instead of writing nonsense!
Oh, by the way, the self-titled album is an incredible record, clearly none of you knows it since most of you speak from hearsay or just for show. If any of you enlightened folks had ever written an album like Motley Crue, you’d probably have something to brag about. For the record, MC doesn’t feature Vince Neil but John Corabi, the album is much heavier than their standard, and it's played incredibly...
