I was about to start the review... luckily, I checked first. Grass, you really surprised me when I was on vacation :) / As for the Dark... I can't find a damn thing. Not even in the lyrics, let's not confuse the delirium of non-presence from LSD with the sadness of non-presence of the Darkettoni. Yes, Jim didn't feel part of this world, but at least when this album was released, it didn't seem to sadden him that much, from what I gather from the notes. In my opinion, this is one of the first records that minimized the Blues matrix (minimized doesn’t mean there's no blues :D, we’re in the 60s, plenty of blues, but a lot of the Cream, just to name one :D), giving space to a more drugged-up and "modern" melody. Of course, the Darkettoni were influenced by Morrison, that’s true, but then let’s take Mozart's requiem and end up saying that’s the first dark record :)) / Ballads for people who aren’t on this earth but couldn't care less about being here, that’s what this second album is. Grass, (but does your nickname have Dutch origins or something else?) I can only correct your GREAT review with a small nitpick: I would swap the adjectives you assigned to Alabama Song and Light My Fire; in Alabama, there’s LSD, there’s the journey and let’s say “intellectuality,” and in LMF, there’s raw, instinctual alcohol, no thoughts, just actions. It's a crime that this record has so few comments. << Break On Through... Otherwise, what the hell are you doing? >> ;)

If we do USA against England, I say USA... if we do USA vs Europe, I say Europe in the 60-70s, but just barely. Nowadays, the Europeans would break the Americans into four without a second thought.

I'm a Punk band... what do you expect from a Punk band? That they make a mess, not that they come up with who knows what. And then he’s absolutely right, the piezzecore when he says <<<. a movie lover, between a Buñuel and a Fellini, shouldn’t miss a film with Landone Buzzanca.>>>

Oh my God, how exaggerated you all are! "Fighting frustrations," "scapegoat to show off"... come on, we’re just people exchanging ideas and opinions that we take responsibility for. We're talking about MUSIC, not our respective mothers! HOW SERIOUSLY DO YOU TAKE YOURSELVES, HUH?! ... and for God's sake, have a damn laugh once in a while!!
