No, Moon, you can’t, you’re way too mischievous for Devon. I just want serious people for her, you know, a good guy who listens to Interpol, someone who listens to gay stuff, dresses gay... in short, a gay guy, so that she doesn’t end up doing naughty things.

No no, believe me... listen to a couple of TRULY PSYCH 70 records, and then see what happens to Santana. Yeah, okay, great guitarist, but not trippy; at most it's a tram ride, not a trip. :)) Technically POWERFUL... but PSYCH is another thing. ;)

I must say, it's an EXCELLENT album, and I agree with your description, BUT: Santana didn’t really precede anything, in my opinion, and is among the most overrated of all time. This is from 1972, and back in '72, there was an abundance of releases, and many of them were much better than Santana’s, I mean in the same "genre." Hawkwind, some stuff from Sabbath, Amon Duul, Jimi, The Who... there was already a lot out there, the history had already been made. He left his mark, but JUST A LITTLE. I prefer the first one, Santana '69, the one with the lion, to this one and consider it on the same level as Abraxas, and I would give it a 5, while this one gets a 4. Sure, it’s much better than many current bands blah blah blah... and the usual standard talk :D. However, Santana is HIGHLY overrated, like Deep Purple, a lot of smoke but not much roast, and it should be noted that from this point on, he went "downhill" (I give you a 4 for that << merit of having anticipated certain trends >>) :D.

No Giò, about the uddue I'm serious, we're talking about MUSIC here, not the uddue, we leave the uddue to Ondarock, along with the rest of what the media shove at us as """music""" / At first, I really didn't want to buy the CD, then I saw the tracklist and thought "...mmmmhhhh... damn it... but isn't it..." when Imagine came out, I had thought really badly, I mean really badly. Then I thought that at worst if it sucked they would sell my copy but in that case, I would burn it to half the world and so more or less I would have completed my little stupid boycott, it was a drop in the ocean, but better a drop than a kick in the ass. Then after listening to it and analyzing the artwork, which can be done quite quickly compared to the insane analyses of Tool, I reached the point of <<< They could have done more... much much more, but better than a kick in the ass. Unfortunately, there's only one Zack, there’s no one like him, forget about Galbusera. >>> / Gabri, I spend two hours a day fighting with people who are my friends, but REAL fights, not little tussles, do you think a word offends me? Not even close, my JKD master in Milan made me do three weeks of arm in traction once, but I love him like a father, imagine how much a word affects me... ;)

but what invasion? Giò pulled out the uddue... and you can't talk about a real pianist? come on :))) By now he probably already has 168 emails in his inbox, one more, one less... :D (this is "one more")

Hey, don't worry, I'll let you know. I just needed some relaxing Jazz like Live In Japan ;)... have you heard how Kenny Baron kills it on the Piano? Wow!!! :D

Yes Hal, it makes sense, I’m not saying it doesn’t make sense, I’m just saying that the explicit one makes MORE sense, that’s all. From that Pasolini quote, I understood something more or less, but I would have understood MORE if it had been explained well. / I don’t get myself because I imply too many things, maybe :) . That this album has reached an acceptable point, I implied from the very beginning. That the group members were part of my own “community of thought,” I’ve implied from the start; that even with symbols you achieve a goal, and you do it with much, much more STYLE than just saying it outright, I’ve implied from the beginning. I only say “They could have done more” :) / Then of course my first posts were about the attack, otherwise the discussion wouldn’t have come out; if I just said “they could have done more,” this review would have had at most 20 posts, instead it has 180. It’s the same point I always make, the best discussions (in my opinion, and based on my modest experience) arise when someone provokes, if we all start with accommodating statements, it ends too quickly, and we don’t get as far as we could with a couple more strong words. This cover, in terms of style, is stunning, it doesn’t suck, but I wanted to see what you all thought, which is why I said it sucks. Want to know another thing? I bought this album on November 2nd... really, I did buy it. But if I said that right away, I would’ve dampened everything too quickly; I wanted to create a bit of a talk show vibe. I know, I know I’m a son of a bitch, I know. ;)

Just like when Zidane plays a normal game, Piccinini doesn't say, "Oh yes, but he played better than Paramatti," he says, "Zidane played badly." It's logical that it's always Zidane, who is a thousand times better than Paramatti, but as for Paramatti, he’s not worth spending words on. I only talk about great players; the rest is just background. I aim for the filet mignon, not the ground beef of third choice. There are also those who enjoy ground beef, well, worse for them. :))

Oh guys, but we really don’t understand each other. The APCs are still a musical group; they deserve my respect, and I can spend time thinking about where to find their weak point. The U2 are PURE SH*T, they are not a musical group, they don’t make music, they suck on all fronts, they are not worthy of my listening, they are not worthy of the time I could waste critiquing them. We’re on De-Baser, we’re talking about Music, not about U2. That the APCs have done better with this album than 1800000000000000000000000 other groups is something I agree with, but since they deserve respect, I expect them to rise to the top, not just exceed the average sh*t that’s out there. / Giò, do you really think I listened to the new U2??? :)
