Damn, I miss 666... now I'm late with a thousand people for CD swaps, but I'll put you on the list. We should both enjoy a nice trade as soon as my last order arrives I'll let you know ;) Of course, for the first swap, you’ll copy ALL the U2 CDs you have, obviously. Ahhhh... Bono... what a man...

Bill had me in stitches when, after trailing after him like a puppy for 5 hours, he says, "My Name Is Bill"... I had to tell him straight up, "Look, I have all your records, Napalm, Carcass, Firebird," and that’s when he shook my hand yet again. But in the end, it’s forgivable; who knows what kind of mischief he’s been up to... // Hal, there's a double of Paolo Fresu, Yellow cover, in the window at soulsonix, do you know it? Do you think it’s worth it? I have a friend who just bought a trumpet and is diving headfirst into jazz; I was thinking about a little "congratulatory" gift ;)

Under the pillow... lucky him, I wish I could curl up and sleep in your little bed. Oh, I just sleep, you know, I'm a heavy sleeper in my own right, old school like they don't make anymore. (I'm a remastering of a Gentleman from the 1800s)

But at least Bono keeps his wife hot? Who does Mr. Vox spend his Sunday afternoons with?

Airò... I had almost forgotten about Stefan from Colour Haze and his Elektrohash, check this out ---> www.elektrohasch.de <-- He knows more than you, me, and Gigi Sabani combined about old kraut stuff. Bug him, he's a solid guy and will definitely find something for you, or at least point you in the right direction. He plays and listens to kraut rock, he's from Munich, he reissues vinyl from the 60s and 70s, so he's the right person to ask. But you don't listen to any current kraut? Like Colour Haze or Acrimony... I really like them a lot, sure it's """derivative""" but not that much. I wanted to wrap it up with a nice Bono TVB and a The Edge, you’re super cool.

I've never bought used records from Airone; I do the same as you. I use Amazon in cases where I want, say, a rap CD, a 60s kraut record, and an electronic one like Warp, because there you can find everything you want. But usually, I manage to group the genres and order from specialized websites. The only record labels I've ordered stuff from are: Ipecac (well, of course), Warp (oh well), and Definitive Jux (really, really well). I've never had problems with Amazon, and I'm not the only one; after all, if it’s the largest mail order service in the world, there must be a reason... In commerce, the opposite is true for music, right? Those who sell the most are the best and the most stocked; in music, those who sell the most are only those who have the most clueless fans... spam me!

Have you ever heard a U2 fan talk about production? Come onnnn.... "I feel Bono is a bit out of it on the bass" ... come onnnnnn...

The U2 make music for the people here, for those who defend them, so why bother recording well when no one notices anyway? These people hear the music on the stereo of the mulino bianco, what difference does it make between Bono and Squarepusher? ... they get what they deserve...

Canaxis should arrive by the end of the month; with the holidays in between, shipments are slowing down. The only one that has kept "the deal" is stonerrock.com, but that's because everything you find in their catalog is immediately available. I got Canaxis on Amazon.com, but new, and there the wait times are much longer, especially since I added a couple of Hawkwind that I knew were out of print, either they have them or I'll soon get the email "sorry, it's no longer available," which is immensely annoying, not to mention it delays everything by a month, and you don’t even have the CD, ugh. So for the Steppen, we’re even Airone; I also have a Best Of, made by hand on soulseek I think, since it was passed to me by a professional downloader, but it’s all good anyway :D

That's true... but which Steppenwolf album should I get, Airone? Oh, just some scattered things, alright, Born To Be Wild and various others, but which of their albums is a good one? (At least let's clean up the review by talking about serious music.)
