<< sound identifier of the spiral, >> EH? But it's super light. Closer is one of the most wonderful Pop pieces in the solar system, but to say it identifies the album, forgive me, is a furious bullshit, indeed it’s the only Pop piece in a wheelbarrow of punchlines. March Of The Pigs identifies the album, or if you really want to mention one that's half-pop and half-not, there's Heresy, but Closer has nothing to do with it.

Then think that this comes after Fixed, so actually, a single like Closer made a lot of people feel like it was a load of crap and luckily the album wasn’t all poppy (while reiterating that Closer is a wonderful poppy track).

You write 50 lines and you only mention Closer and Heresy, the pop tracks. In here there’s Reptile, I mean, REPTILE. When that chaos drops at the time, everyone and I mean everyone, no exceptions, said EH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? Even those from Reggio Calabria said EH MY GOD, I swear.

Okay, maybe you heard it years later and therefore you don't realize what that perfect chaos of Reptile and Ruiner was, but trust me, you can shove Closer up your ass in comparison.

Never say again that Closer identifies this album, depending on who you tell, they might headbutt you so you remember it.

It's truly a wonderful marvel, and I also said a giant bullshit at first, because it’s not even that "sleep"; it was me being an idiot looking for the sleeps, I was "forcing" them but I ended up bewildered. They created something historic, the best Heavy album of the decade, and anyone who disagrees had Jovanotti in their walkman in 2000 and not Dopethrone.

Okay okay, I got into it. It took a while and I still don’t understand the reasoning behind several choices - including the dry sound of the drums and very few cymbals - but they made something very serious, and it’s probably the best reunion album I've ever heard. Maybe not, but off the top of my head, I can't think of any others at this level.

Anyway, in my opinion, Scott Hill is the biggest son of a bitch of Stoner.
He used to do everything with Glass, then Glass leaves and Bjork comes in, then Bjork leaves and we get these shitty records... Now, from what I read, there's again a good one, and strangely it’s a nice album, different from the others because the new guy, who is good, is in charge while the others aren’t.
It's something I don’t find in any other band, this hardcore that sucks and gathers new people to make good records.
It should be the opposite.

I really, really loved the scene where at a certain point he starts dancing. And then there was this moment where one stumbles around drunk and the sober guy says, "hey man, do you think everything is just moving?" and the drunk guy hits back hard with, "oh idiot, in reality everything really is moving, it's just that when you're sober you're used to it, you dumbass!"
And he’s right, he really is.

Instead, the Wizard one is very gangia, fucking hell, last night I saw the witches coming out of the ditches! But maybe not even gangia, more absinthe, yes. Very clean, a little Electric, a bit Wizard, but more than anything, it seems like the album that the Witchcraft always wanted to make but never managed to.

I don't know, I'll tell you, I don't know. It's not a bad album at all, in fact it's very nice, but they played it safe. The catchy melodies are missing, there are many well-crafted riff walls, but it gave me the impression of the three of them trying to "make an Sleep album."

It doesn't have that gangia vibe, which doesn't mean it's bad, but I don't know. You have to consider that I played an Sleep album in the mountains, so I had my hype levels at a thousand, and probably even if Christ himself had appeared to me, I would have said "yeah, okay, normal," but I don't know.

I can definitely say that the catchy melodies are lacking, he doesn't stretch out the vowels (in the clarity he goes seeeeensiiiimiiiilliaaaaan), and that feels strange to me.

I don’t know. It's a nice album anyway, nothing to complain about. The Botanist is a great track, but it doesn't have that gangia feel.

I thought it was a project by Coso, the guitarist (from the second album, who at this point may be someone else on the first).

They’ve always told me little, and Mainardo has been a pain in the ass for me basically since forever, like even before Lateralus. Then he just got more on my nerves, and for like 15 years he’s really been getting on my absolute nerves.
Great singer, sure, but 1) singers can all die and it wouldn’t change much for me 2) die, you stupid jerk 3) sí na pucchiacc'

What luck, starting Tuesday I'll be wandering around the Apennines, I already planned to watch a sunrise while listening to Holy Mountain, and if there's the new one, even better!
