I know it all by heart since the month after it came out, but the one from two years later is so much better that this one almost seems bad. I remember about 8/9/10 years ago there was someone on YouTube who made videos singing Lou-X's songs. He would put the song on in the stereo (which, of course, sounded terrible in the video), light up a cigarette, and sing along. But he was happy, though. With a really mean face.

Ah, and then all the movies by Stiven Spilbe.

In my opinion, you should dive into Retro Gaming. Like the entire Mario saga and the Sonic one, with a grand finale where you dissect the differences between the two and their impact on society.

Then maybe throw in some gems now and then, like Strider or Altered Beast. Interspersed with sure hits like Street Fighter II.

A bomb of a career is laid out in front of you. Bomb.

I really liked Wait 'till Mornin, and I've listened to it just as much. The others seemed just as beautiful to me, but it's not the time to listen to them altrattantatutatutan-spà!-nte times.

Everything is beautiful, but Spectrum as "avant-garde disco" and "the evolution of a process started by Miles Davis"? No, thank you. I listened to Spectrum even as a kid; it took me much longer to understand what "that" Miles Davis was trying to do or say.

Sure, if you want to compare it to someone like Lucio Dalla or pick a random singer, then it's avant-garde. But if you mention Miles Davis from that period or the Weather Report in the same sentence, then the term avant-garde becomes much more colossal, and Spectrum stays small (even though it remains a fantastic album; it's not like if it's not avant-garde it's crap—who cares if it's avant-garde or not).

For example, there are Gene Krupa records from 15 years earlier and some even older that go much further than Spectrum. And I mean many, not just one or two, like 20.

I increasingly notice that a group that doesn’t overthink and clearly states what genre they want to pursue is better than one that says, "I can’t define us... we’re making our own proposal, I’m inspired by both the car wash broom, Steve Reich, Morricone, or Ricchi e Poveri..."

These Zolfo, on the other hand, are quite straightforward: "we do Doom Sludge." And they make a great record.

I saw Orcaboia this morning on the appenusciti of Rateyourmusic. I hope it’s good and not a brick on the dick like the rich Chilean from Niuiork often enjoys doing.
