I just want to point out the average rating of the album is 4.07!! In a negative review, by the way!

I would like to add one thing that hasn’t come up in the three reviews, namely that this album features the collaboration of the great Mauro Pagani, and this is clearly reflected in the final sound, which appears quite different from previous works and in some instances surprisingly acoustic.

PUBLISHER, LET IT GO, maybe this stuff isn’t for you, it’s just not your thing or maybe you understood little because this album can absolutely not please you, tastes are tastes, but don’t tell me there’s stagnation and repetitiveness with others because that’s a massive bullshit. The writing is completely different, the arrangements are completely frantic and schizophrenic, nothing to do with the past, and especially the lyrics! But have you read them? I don’t think so because you downloaded the album. The lyrics are completely different from the past, so different that they seem to be written by someone else. In Italy, there are very few people who write stuff like this and write it so well. I believe you were eagerly waiting for the release just to be the first to write negatively about it because it’s so trendy to bash a certain type of album, and you couldn’t resist, but honestly, I think you haven’t really listened to this album or in any case, you didn’t understand it at all. They might be unpleasant, they get on my nerves too, but that’s another story because we have to tell the truth, Requiem is a great album... In Italy, we deserve the crap they sell us.

TERRIFYING DISO RATING 10, I wonder how many of you have really listened to it. After 10 listens, it’s still hard to understand, so some of you are just throwing around big statements. To those who say it’s the same as the others, I reply that you don’t understand shit about this or the others. This is a notch above "suicidio," which was already a great album. Total evolution in writing, completely insane arrangements, and especially in the lyrics that seem written by someone else; it’s a grandiose, megalomaniac album, occasionally almost excessive but absolutely stunning. In Italy, there are few people making this kind of music at this level and especially writing at this level. Otherwise, stick to Subsonica or stuff like that. I find Verdena annoying, and that’s another discussion; they get on my nerves too, but I judge music with my mind and my heart, and this is a great album. Think for yourselves, don’t follow the herd, say what you really think, don’t be afraid, and above all, don’t shoot nonsense just because it’s in vogue.

Regarding the lyrics... You can’t give four stars to an album whose lyrics are terrible! The lyrics are just as important as the sound. In fact, I think they hit you but you don’t understand them. I get you because I believe it’s a kind of game, that is, creating strange sensations by simply putting together particular words. Fragments emerge that are actually nonsensical but sound dark and twisted and effectively provoke a certain melancholic state of mind.

I don't know how to take a stand. The album is undoubtedly pleasant, but the references are certainly numerous. However, I don't feel I can consider it a pointless imitation; instead, I find that there is a certain inspiring flame, a convincing sincerity at its core. The only question remains: is it right to judge a record solely by the feeling it evokes, or should we always consider what is around and behind it, everything it resembles, and therefore somehow filter our judgment? I’m a bit of a "musical anarchist," a "Hippie of critical judgment." I’m not interested in the basic rules and laws of evaluation; I put a CD in, and if I like it, it’s good; if it sucks, it’s bad.
