I had mixed feelings about Duran Duran... my little sister loved them, but she was a full-on paninara. I hated them because they were liked by paninari, but at the same time (and without ever admitting it to my sister) I appreciated their music. :))

What a beautiful review, France! It's true, this is an album that really showcases the soul of this sensitive and honest artist. An artist who shone with his own light, who sparkled from within. And I loved the self-irony he infused in his being gay; he made fun of himself with a unique, inimitable class! And what can I say about his energy? South, really well done. I loved Giuni so much in the '80s; it was a golden period for Italian music, especially for female artists: Alice, Rettore, Loredana Berté, Gianna Nannini, Teresa De Sio, Paola Turci, Antonella Ruggero, Anna Oxa, Rossana Casale... La Russo could be jarring at times, but sublime in all the other moments. Great singer! I'm definitely interested in this album! :)
