Nice review, Hm, I was just about to do it! Great band, an album I've been listening to for weeks without getting tired of it yet. For me, the album of the month. Pure, blazing, immediate, gritty post-punk/emo-core. :) Welcome, Hm!

"...modern hard-rock tradition: Smashing Pumpkins and Muse..." that statement doesn't seem very right to me, anyway you piqued my curiosity :-) I see this review as less convinced than the one you wrote for I.N.C. ---- (is it really possible that no one leaves comments, good or bad? Shame on everyone!)

Well done, Rob. I'm very interested, but here in Switzerland, they can't be found... :-/

Nice review Puglia, compliments... Barry, you’re a legend :D The good old Prince... in twenty years we’ll see him around like James Brown does today (of course in a watered-down version, considering the "conversion").

I have an almost maniacal reverence for Albini. Besides Big Black, there’s also Rapeman among his past personal projects. What drives me crazy about this man is his absolute and genius mastery of sound (not to mention a caustic and abrasive cynicism, but that’s another story). This record was recorded live with a mess of microphones placed in every corner of the studio. Anyone who knows how to work like that and manages to produce such a sound deserves a deep bow. Small typo Humax: "My" Black Ass, and the informational link about the band (http://www.southern.com/southern/band/SHLAC) as well as the freedb link for the tracklist are missing. Anyway, good review :)

Don't touch me, Iko. It's thanks to him that I joined debaser, it's thanks to him that I had beautiful debates where I also vented with passionate and "grandiose" comments, it's thanks to him that I reconnected with some albums I had forgotten. Maximum respect! Vic, you’re still the same, it's pointless for you to hide behind a thousand nicknames, your style is recognizable, at least by me who knows how to read between the lines. I don't want to create any controversy, but I wonder, can't you write a nice review like the ones you used to anymore? Really never ever again? :-(
