A heartfelt thank you to G_à for introducing me to this album. I listen to it often; it manages to estrange me from my surroundings and immerse me in a timeless space. I love this crossover of genres, I love this feeling of being suspended. It’s thanks to G_à's review of Molvaer's concert that I discovered this one by Turk; I enjoyed reading it, envisioning G's daring belly challenging the wind and the beautiful album cover. I learn about the story of the statues, and I feel that this album connects you like a thread of gold, and I'm happy to be here...

I don't want to say something stupid, but the one driving the car on the cover looks just like Rob Ellis (the one who played the drums and percussion on this album)... it would make sense as an image (her in the foreground, him in the background), but maybe I'm wrong.
