Thank you, Zion! It's nice when an old review like this comes to light... I read it again... and I'm impressed to realize that if I were to write this review now, it would be a completely different thing. Not better or worse, just different... :D Bye!

A best-selling album even today, a real hit. The combination and dynamism of the flow of the tracks, along with the memories of certain images from the film, make it very special. The order of the songs in a soundtrack is important (how many o.s.t. seem thrown together randomly!) In this light, other soundtracks with already published pieces that I find remarkable: Goodbye Vietnam, Apocalypse Now (a masterpiece!), Wir Kinder Of Bahnhof Zoo, Trainspotting, etc., etc., etc... And then there's Tarantino... for example, for Kill Bill he primarily focused on the soundtrack, already compiled before writing the screenplay; in this case, the image serves the music (and I really like that...) Great review, Cliff, welcome back, and fuck 'costituzionale' ;)

I wrote a review of this album (somewhere else), a friend of mine also wrote one (also somewhere else), and I can say that we both love it very much (I ranked it among my top ten of 2004), but neither of us has DARED so much (the comparison with Nick Cave is losing)! :DD legendary Hum! Yes, a magnificent album, a "dark" voice that hurts, a tormented man who torments... for me, a real crush. :)

Ahahahah Jordan, you’re a legend! The Deeeeee-Liteeeeee!!!! What a throwback! You opened a drawer that had been closed for a long time. It reminds me of that afternoon ten years ago, wandering around New York with Digable Planets' Reachin' playing in my headphones... such great memories :) (wow, how time flies....)

Well, even looking in the mirror in the morning (and spitting in one’s eye, I might add...). Now let’s not exaggerate... No one here is performing, or maybe we’re all performing. No one has the truth, Stranglers, we’re just here to hurt each other :))
