Lou Reed / John Cale Songs For Drella
Voto:
Turk, honored by the mention! Thank you :))) Lou Reed... for me, he means the Seventies with Transformer and Rock And Roll Animal, the best live album in the history of rock, it has an unmatched sound, it’s so moving, I get a lump in my throat when I listen to it. I forgot about Lou Reed in the Eighties, but in the Nineties, Magic & Loss came out, a magnificent album but, in my opinion, one of the most underrated of the period. I don't have Songs For Drella (but it was always in the store, it was a must-have, always on display, I liked the cover, so simple and so honest)... wow, now I would really love to listen to it, the reception deserves it...

The review is very engaging, at this point it's almost a must to listen to the album, which I admit I don't know. "Quattro gatti"? Noooo. We are hundreds... maybe we meow this way or that way, but in any case, we have our whiskers and ears well perked up. :D (in fact, there are 290 entries in this review... many read, few comment)

I downloaded this album, but I never listened to it attentively. You piqued my curiosity. That "Literally melts even the hardest peels" is convincing :))

What a magnificent review! It's very touching the respect you show for this artist. The review of Frantz already inspired me a lot, but 33 tracks... quite a challenging listen for me since I'm not familiar with him... but now I will give it a try.

yep. to be honest, I'm trying again, but I'm finding it really tough, and then I spend too much time thinking about it... I think from now on I'll only vote for the albums.... ;)
Suzi Quatro Can the Can

I would like to clarify the title of the album. This record was originally not titled Can The Can; in fact, my European copy is simply titled Suzi Quatro. Now the version that is circulating today is this one, that is, the reissue of the Australian version, which was titled, back then, "Can The Can"... hey thanks to everyone for leaving such nice comments :)

Instead, I like it; it’s a mature album, and Jack White (I don’t consider her, she’s just an accessory) is worth more on his own than a thousand other bands. And guys... WHAT A SOUND! White isn’t an original, but he knows how to amp it up like few others.
