The Tears Here Come The Tears

Hummy, I'll send it to you tomorrow or the day after. Finally, I have a couple of weeks of HOLIDAY and I can dedicate myself to the thousand sends I have to do :D OH! I agree about the sound, poorly done work, superficially. Nice record, other than that. Bye Bias :)
Billy Corgan The Future Embrace

Well, in the end I listened to it (I hadn't done it yet when the review of the donz came out), and I must say that I quite like this album... okay, there are some 'dead' moments, but in other parts Corgan really appeals to me. I listened to it once at night, around 2 AM while I was working on a text, and in that moment I really enjoyed it... Totally agree on the final four tracks, and then To Love Somebody! I love this version so much, I already liked the original (one of the most beautiful songs by the Bee Gees), but this one is, as you say, heart in throat! :)

Interesting... I've heard of them before, and I saw them the other day in a preview at a store. I think I'm going to give them a listen :)

For me, not "THE" masterpiece of the After, but I can understand the enthusiasm :) Beautiful review, very well written. Hi Pupa

:D I can't be impartial about Godano because I know him... and he hasn't given me the impression of being arrogant (at least not with me, since he doesn't play). What's wrong with enjoying the word? Someone who plays the guitar enjoys the solos, just like someone who plays the trumpet or the accordion or the ocarina. Or is there a difference? Hi Ajeje, have a good Sunday :D

Interesting comment, Ajeje. I’m reminded of a friend from Bologna who, when I talked to him about the MV, always replied dismissively: "Bah! They are just pretentious people from the DAMS..." without adding anything else. Many in the rock music scene in Bologna thought like him... Honestly, I didn’t quite grasp the significance of the joke. What do you think, Ajeje?

I don't know them, no, the Madrugada. Do you suggest starting with this? Hi John :)

a really well-written review that made me want to listen to this album for the thousandth time. And that’s what matters, right? Here it’s perfection, it’s an extraordinary sound (thanks to the masterful Clif Norell), it’s great emotion: in my opinion, one of the cornerstone albums of the '90s, one of the most influential. A masterpiece. Personally, I also love the earlier ones, Life's Rich Pageant, Murmur, Document... For what comes after, it’s mostly and solely affection...

sorry, I was assuming you had bought it recently (it's not clear, actually). Anyway, I've always appreciated Stanze by Massimo Volume, the first one. That was truly innovative, it was a small hit but impactful. And that’s where the guitars really shine! One of my theories is that Stanze is the natural continuation of what was left behind with Etica Epica Etnica Pathos by CCCP, an amazing album in my opinion and, I shamelessly confess, my favorite by Ferrett, Zamboni & Co. So, what was I trying to say? ah.... here it is, Stanze by MV, maybe if you give it a listen, you might digest Mimì :))
