Starting with "Horror" is at least an exaggeration, isn't it? However, the review is nice and intriguing, I reiterate.

Oh, it's true! I mean, you’re right... I heard it, I drank it in, and I repeated it like a parrot... or is it age playing tricks on my memory? Anyway, it’s true that this is the first album from Virgin, and Nevermind The Bollocks was exclusively distributed by Virgin, which is also true... in my post the timing of the events doesn’t align. In short, Branson made a ton of money with these two albums. Anyway, I'm... punishing myself, sorry for the nonsense :D

I saw that concert you’re talking about on video, well, the Who were an immense live band, spectacular. Them and the Led Zep, and Jimi Hendrix. The records… it was a bit of a flaw back then, on the records they tended to 'clean' the sound, and the intentions, the attitudes. Bye Antonì :)

One could also say that this MASTERPIECE was the result of excellent collaboration, of a unique moment born between production and creation, "the perfect deal"... This record was born thanks to the Sex Pistols, that's right. When the first SexP came out, nobody wanted to distribute it because it was censored. The good old Branson, owner of the Virgin stores spread across Great Britain (I don't remember how many, but I know that in his stores it wasn't forbidden to smoke joints, so they were very popular) had the BRILLIANT idea to tell everyone to fuck off and distribute the censored SexP anyway, even in the USA. It was on this profit that he built his Virgin Records empire, and on the recording studio he created, where the first to cross the threshold was our Oldfield, who at that moment was in a state of grace. So I'm not here to bore you with the SOUND of this record (for me a masterpiece of engineering) or with Branson's recording studio, but every time I think of this story, I find myself saying that punk, despite contrary intentions, contributed to the revaluation of progressive. And what progressive. Unrepeatable, even for Oldfield. 16 million copies sold.
