Listen Ego, I'm not here to discuss Ticinese politics with you because, as you admit, you know nothing about it. Just as I understand that you know nothing about Swiss democracy, don't come to me talking about democratic referendums in Switzerland, which are still allowed and often successfully utilized by the sovereign people here. Do you even know what you’re talking about? Hey, Switzerland is not (yet) Italy; things work a bit differently here! The Ticinese League has already tried with referendums, but look at that, they never manage to collect the necessary signatures to validate them, strange, huh? I won’t accept being considered superficial by you, who knows nothing of what I’m talking about, especially since I have worked with the Ticinese League, and I have great friends from that party, but unfortunately, thanks to the characters mentioned above, the Ticinese League makes a fool of itself in the eyes of the rest of Switzerland. If Bossi were an openly declared cocaine addict like our Bignasca (not to mention the rest), I don’t think he would have received the support he got in Italy, not even from the Padanians. Your Bossi may be a shouter, may be unstable (this isn’t my judgment, but rather the judgment that many give him), but at least he’s a decent person, not a CRIMINAL, OFFENDER, RASCAL. Ego, you seem very naive... differentiating ideas from the morality of those who express them? great, great... it's like saying: let’s differentiate the ideas of the priest who gives the sermons, and not pay attention to the fact that he’s molesting the altar boys. Is that what you mean? great...

Dear Ego, I am a young lady. I talked about television and not radio. Bossi doesn't bother me at all when he talks about his Italian things; it only unsettles me when he starts talking (raving) about Regio Insubria (the region of lakes that De Sfroos always mentions), that is, about breaking down the border between Italy and Switzerland and annexing Ticino (I'm from Ticino) to Padania... in short, I get a bit of a shiver of HORROR... Ego, do you know what I’m talking about? Do you know there is a League of Ticinese led by a certain Giuliano Bignasca, who makes Bossi look like an aristocratic prince in comparison? Have you ever seen or heard a conversation from this Bignasca? One who is a recognized hard drug addict (he himself has admitted it without too many frills, he has even been judged for it, but his driver ended up in jail), someone who has a large construction company and does not pay social contributions for his workers (we're talking millions of Swiss francs in debt to the State), someone who rents his villas to porn film productions (the legendary "Sandy against all" was made in Bignasca's villa with a local porn star dealing with 60 men and Siffredi), someone who rents rooms to prostitutes to "operate" their profession (at exorbitant prices)... in short, keep your Bossi, and be happy that things still go well for you, but he should stop supporting these characters (to explain in detail, Bignasca's brother is the head of the dialectal theater company which Bossi misses on television). In short, dear Ego, you say "The meaning or content of his statements doesn’t matter, no," but it actually matters a lot; it’s just that the true meaning escapes you, now that I’ve explained it to you, perhaps it won’t anymore... just to clarify, here you find a picture of the aforementioned Bignasca (affectionately known as the "Dwarf") link rotto _media/images/sri/2003/sriimg2 0031002_4303749_0.jpg (be careful of the spaces that form in the link). Here: Bignasca is the one in the middle, quite a sight, comforting, isn’t he? On the left, there’s Maspoli (another character whose failures can no longer be counted, driving quite a few families to ruin) and on the right, there’s Lombardi, a member of the Grand Council of Bern (like your parliament in Rome) who is devoted to fancy cars and alcohol (indeed, after being caught several times driving 200 km/h on our highways, they’ve now revoked his license). These are the characters of our League. Therefore: at this point, you can understand why I am horrified when Bossi pretends to be a "Ticinese"... there you go, I hope I’ve explained myself :)) bye

I would like to tell you something. The other day, Bossi made a statement on Swiss Italian television. Until a few years ago, it could be received as far as Milan, Brescia, and Turin. Today, due to complicated broadcasting rules and excessive costs (guess who orchestrated this...), the poorly funded Swiss Italian television can only be received up to Como; it no longer reaches Varese. Bossi said the other day that he really regrets not being able to watch TSI anymore, because he loved it, especially when there were programs dedicated to dialectal theater. Naturally, the news caused a stir here, puffing up those from the Lega Ticinese (a terrible copy of the Italian Lega), and horrifying those (like me) who do not like the Lega members, but that’s not the point. The question is: those involved in the dialectal theater programs, now that it’s known that the Lega members followed them with affection, should they also be considered Lega members? The same applies to De Sfroos; the fact that he sells his show to the Lega doesn’t mean much, especially since he doesn’t do it exclusively. He has performed various concerts at the pro-Zapatista Csoa in Lugano, he has played for the PS Ticinese in front of thousands of local leftists, he has done concerts for poor children in Brazil, for the basketball association, for the Ciellini at the University of Lugano, and so on. He is simply (and I mean it in a "rustic" sense) a storyteller who speaks to COMMON people, not to political quaqquaraqquà. He is a genuine person, without many pretensions, and does NOT do politics; he writes songs and books (has anyone read them by chance?) that talk about the history and tradition of the lakes, about poverty and emigration, about farmers and smugglers. Finally, I’d like to say that all this started from a comment by Turkish, which by the way I don’t think refers to the character in question, but is just his opinion on the Lega members and sympathizers, tout court.

Antoniodeste, I have been following this forum, and I would like to say something spontaneously: I was hurt by your initial comments, not completely because of McSampyr, but for myself since I voted for him. If you call him an idiot, you’re also calling me one, do you understand what I mean? But since I am a broad-minded person with broad shoulders, I waited, hoping you would explain—intelligently and interestingly, as you know how to do elsewhere—why McSampyr missed the mark in his review MUSICALMENTE speaking. I don't care about your opinion on Mc as a person, or your opinion on his musical tastes, do you get this? You say, "spare the readers of debaser your foolishness regarding a band (and an album) about which you have said nothing interesting." I could paraphrase you and ask you the same, referring to your jokes... but I won’t because you have every right to say what you want. I am a bit disappointed with this forum because instead of seeing frantic ramblings - even if well-written :D - I would have preferred a constructive explanation from you, which would have made a neophyte like me, who knows little about AREA, very happy... that's all, but I think you understand what I mean.

I know them by reputation but I’ve never heard them, this for example... it's the cover that has always put me off, it's so hideous... I know I'm saying something ridiculous, but Gentle Giant brrrrrrr, horror. But now that you've done the review (slap slap) who knows.... (Enea, the Pietrangeli, what a splendid seventy-year-old! Much better than Panatta!)
