However, Jimbo, in the early '70s, American cinema dedicated itself to the cause of the Indians; films like Soldier Blue, A Man Called Horse, and Little Big Man (three GREAT films!) had a huge impact on public opinion at the time, especially for those of us who were about ten years old back then... Then came films like No Mercy for Ulzana, leading up to films like The Brave (which has nothing to do with Westerns but tells the story of a "victimized Indian") and the melodramatic mess Dances with Wolves...
