Francis Ford Coppola The Godfather (Part I, II, III)
Voto:
I much prefer (while loving the entire trilogy) the first one, and even knowing that this film is unmatched in its machismo, I adore it. And then the holy trinity: Al Pacino is wonderful, Brando is immense, De Niro is splendid. Only Coppola could take these three and make them immortal, each in their own right, but within the same storyline. No one else ever succeeded before, and no one will after.

... breathtaking landscapes, the adorable little Dalai Lama, high-quality photography, expensive production, and you can tell. But Brad Pitt is too unlikely, with that poorly dyed hair (way too yellow-headed), with that American soldier's scowl... he looks like anything but an Austrian mountaineer. Pitt should have ventured more consistently into romantic westerns, like "Legends of the Fall," where he seems more at ease. Pitt just needs to be American and nothing more.
