Can you explain this sentence to me? "Alternative rock, without falling into the suffocating abyss of 'indie,' even better? I would say indie rock." Indie means "independent from the majors." It's not a music genre. Or do you mean "indie" because "independent" from music genres (then why "rock?") -- (Gospel or Bible of Rock? make up your mind)
