Mery forever! Beautiful! A movie that Italy should be really proud of; here in Switzerland, in Germany, in France, it made a splash.

The one by the Coen brothers (thank you) was a nice movie, clearly reminiscent of Daumbailò.

In the Name of the Father! Indeed, at first I was thinking about which Europeans to mention, and a flash came to my mind, an image of Day Lewis that I didn’t know which movie to place it in :)

(Dead Man Walking is also a prison film) and then I think of a movie I watched late at night, which wasn’t bad, featuring an unlikely Clooney, on the run from hard labor in the swamps of Mississippi... it was a tragicomic thing.

Well done, Polé. With Bronson, with Coburn... beautiful film. But there’s a difference between prisoners of war and incarcerated criminals; the allure is different :) while Nick Mano Fredda, now there’s another classic!

:) It's daring, I admit, but I've always thought so... I went to check on Il Buco: Philippe Leroy, Michel Constantin! I believe it's good; the French knew how to tell stories about the underworld. I absolutely have to see it. I haven't even seen the one by Siegel; I just read that the tagline on the Italian poster was ā€œOne million volts of brute force.ā€ :D
