perfect Bartle, as usual. Exceptional film that disturbed us all when it was released. Cronenberg has an immense quality, that of knowing how to choose the right actors, and Irons is one of his best choices, just like Walken for The Dead Zone and Woods for Videodrome. I’ve never seen History Of Violence with Mortensen... is it worth it?

The review is biased, just like the film. Only this film is a masterpiece of cinema. Moreover, this film is not an Italian film, but an Italian-French-German production. It’s an international film, and that’s why there are international actors, with a nod to the Americans.

Nowadays, it makes more sense to me to have a "badass amazon" Smith at her age, rather than this pacified Smith. The album: some exalt it and some bury it (like you). I’m in the middle; I see it simply as a little treat from our dear old Patti, like when you reach a certain point in life and decide to sit on the porch leafing through an old, worn-out, dusty photo album. I like to imagine her like this. Isn’t that what we all look for? A bit of peace, finally?
