Well, considerations aside that have nothing to do with the main subject of the book, a topic that certainly makes no distinctions of nationality (stupid death is stupid death, period.). Your phrase "I would say we should stop using that country as a reference" honestly seemed to me a direct criticism of the reviewer. Then stated by someone who has reviewed a game like TeamICO, may I allow myself a wry smile? (great review, by the way) :-)) hi.

A book is never useless (unless it's a colossal piece of junk). As the reviewer said, it makes you reflect on a taboo subject, "dying well." Like that friend of mine, many years ago, who before leaving the house would put everything in perfect order, and I once teased him for being fussy; his response was, "If I die outside today, I want whoever comes in here later to find everything in order." Bet you that now I even wash the dishes before leaving the house? Then... if you think it's necessary to judge the book solely based on its cultural references from those American test studies, that's fine. But I would give it a second thought. Bye.
