Well, you see for me Black Market is Cannonball, Barbary Coast and Elegant People; it’s the first one with Jaco and you can feel his influence, then it’s a matter of personal sensitivity, but I totally agree that it’s balanced, which is why it’s a masterpiece. As for the rest, the relationship between the two is controversial; some say it was a head-to-head, while others claim it was an unhealthy "father-son" dynamic that Jaco mishandled and Zawinul underestimated...
