Come on, many of us are signed up on faccialibro. I wouldn't get upset at all if someone here made my name public... sDebaser is not an exclusive club, and neither are faccialibro, lastfm, twitteer, myspace, youtubbo. By now, DeB is part of the network, and we are the ones who made it so. Hi, it's a beautiful day.

Sellami, the Count as a reviewer is beyond discussion, come on.. but I still don't get it, is that "sellami" an invitation to jump on your back? Can I? :-) ... Ficcata, that's enough, you are vain too! :-D

Conte, you’re right, there’s no arguing about tastes. However, the point you’re making is something else; it’s not the punk itself, but its fans. And here, how can I not agree with you! The fans... too much love kills, I always say (right, Muffino?). But I admit, I would kill for the Clash (and a few others), so it’s neither better nor worse, you know? Here, no one is better or worse. We are all passionate, and love isn’t beautiful if it isn’t a bit quarrelsome. Hi, have a nice Sunday.

I always find these punk vs. jazz discussions amusing and whatever else. Because, round and round, it always ends up like this, everyone clinging tight to their positions. Miles, Strummer, and Zappa—genius characters who made musical fusion their signature (I dare anyone to prove me wrong)—would laugh in your face. I can picture them up there, elbowing each other! The Clash: anyone who says they were the flagbearers of punk tout court, I’ll smack! The Clash had an unmatched musical writing style, Strummer knew how to write lyrics (even the silly ones; even Zappa was a god with silly lyrics!), and they provided a clearer vision of what was happening at that moment. They developed a concept, that is, the concept of "punk street" intertwined with other concepts of "street" (mod, garage, reggae, dub, etc.) giving form and light to the entire underground youth scene in England at that time, which was definitely more nuanced than one would always like to believe here... well, the discussion is long, and I’ll stop here; we’re not on storiadellamusica :-)

Oh esteemed De Lorenzo, I am too ignorant to express myself (and I've already done so in another review). However, there is one thing I have been wondering for a while: why does no one ever talk about Maurizio Costanzo?... I don't know, but I have always seen Costanzo (P2 membership 1819) and Berlusca (P2 membership 1816) as the Cat and the Fox of Italian private TV...

I saw it a couple of months ago on TV and it struck me. Agreed about the soundtrack, a disaster, it's a thriller okay, but there's no need to emphasize the suspense so excessively, we're not blind. Rappoport is good, but you can tell she's a theater actress, Placido is over the top as usual, Favino, Haber, Gerini, and Buy are in their element (maybe Gerini could have been more convincing)... then the flashbacks, too frantic, too hyperrealistic. Too much on the table, in short, which loses the core of the issue and somewhat undermines the viewer's involvement, an involvement that the story itself would have deserved.

To Eze, now you've really pissed me off.
