Ol' Dirty Bastard Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version

Damn :D I was just about to write that saying "anyway, it's a fun album" is blasphemy.

Look, I read it almost 30 years ago. I don’t think I grasped its essence back then, but I remember it sparked a "Russian" period (art, history, films, music, poetry). I’ve never managed to turn all of that into a journey. But there are so many, too many trips I would like to take. And the books I would like to reread.

But then why are you talking about it??

So Pun, let’s see: in the first paragraph, you say that we don’t add our own touch, that we are banal in our ramblings. Then you say that to remedy this (annoying!) handicap, this Dictionary comes to the rescue. Great! Thanks for the advice! Then we find out it’s out of print. I complain about it. Oh, but you say we’re not in the publishers’ club. Well, okay, fair enough, especially since in the end you say that Italians excel in this art in the world (but didn’t you say we have little imagination??). In short, a hit here, a miss there…

Well, I'll pass, I've already understood that here we want to dive into some nonsense. Have fun everyone!

As always, your beautiful reviews go beyond: aside from the admiration for Harvey, which I share, a thank you is in order for the link on Frank Hurley; I really enjoyed it. You made me discover the YouTube channel "PhotographyMasters," it’s invaluable!

Here we talk about a book, we make our own personal considerations and more, but we don’t know squat about the author. We're forced to go on Google. What a drag. This Mr. Gianfranco Lotti is from Livorno (and with that, I’ve said it all), and I believe he’s a linguist professor. He has written several essays on Italian slang expressions. This essay presented by Pun is out of print (so I don’t see the point of the review since if we don’t find it at a flea market, we’ll never see it, what do we care about the critique? It’s self-serving. It’s show punishesko).

I've never been able to read it beyond the first thirty pages. I don't think I'll ever manage to. Anyway, it's a really beautiful... I don't know whether to call it a review, but really beautiful, yes.
