Ah, the 16 posted simultaneously. Okay, now I get it. But admit that with the other episodes, you would have mentioned certain details (Eno and his tome)... maybe I was a bit hasty, but you were too synth this time. Bye!

(I don’t understand why you have to change style right at the last chapter, but who cares! What a pity!)

Look, I'm sorry, maybe I'm misunderstanding, perhaps irritated by the overwhelming Italian victimism present on the forum, but here I go wrong, however Enea, Bernardi is a musician. And I agree with Geeno on the phrase "We are at the end, and only at the end can we affirm: power has migrated from the hands of the masters of Musica Concreta to the ordinary users, from the listened to the listeners, from the musicians to the non-musicians." But do you mean at the end of your review excursion? It's unclear. It seems to me that you are talking about the ā€œdeathā€ of electronic (art) music. I don’t know.

So I misunderstood you, maybe here: "from musicians to non-musicians"... but you're a bit ambiguous, dear.

"For example, I used to frequent Cinefile.biz, a movie review site. Well, for a few months now, you can leave comments on reviews on Cinefile!" :D Yesterday I watched an episode of CSI, the series with the black professor who took Grissom's place. He was talking to Lieutenant Nick (the muscular one) and they were both desperate for not having been able to prevent the murder of a girl. So the Prof. tells Nick (I paraphrase): 'When I feel like this, I go online to a movie site, look for one of my favorite films, and read all the comments and critiques saying that I’m wrong to like it ...'. Then they both start crying. I was moved :D

Not at all, Bartle. Fb has been "in" in Italy for two years (since it was translated). Myspace has been around longer.

Bartle is right, the video games case is emblematic, demand -> supply -> disinterest -> failure, but even the art section would already be buried if it weren't for those two or three users (including your Kyra, Cpt.). I’m reminded of that series of reviews on music videos that you used to do, Cpt, it was a great idea (I’ve always told you that), but it wasn't picked up by anyone and it died off since you stopped writing on deb. So, I’d like to ask you why you think it didn’t continue as an idea.

but no :D she calls me gabi, a diminutive (which I hate, I prefer gabri from you Italians, at least there's an "r"). Geeno, you and your sailor's promises :)

To the serious question, a serious answer: no, it's not a problem, and why should it be? The enjoyment of music has changed over the past five years. And the web has filled up with other sites offering other forms of entertainment (since we're talking about entertainment), just look at fb. Should we really be worried about this? About competition? About other music sites? The discussion could very well end here, given how repetitive and self-referential you are, and besides, this has been going on for years among the same few people (without me, three), and ultimately I think that the entire user base, both the participatory and the silent, has grown quite tired of it. We thank you for the support and the affection we read between the lines. P.S.: Cpt, one thing, in the future I would prefer to be addressed by my nickname, in full, shortened, or even twisted, at your discretion. Only one person in the world calls me by my full name (and it’s not my mom). Thank you very much :)
