1) Yes, I gathered that there wasn't an overall negative judgment, or rather I remained vague asking for clarifications on terms like "deaf" etc., believing that elsewhere they would have a negative connotation unlike what might be observed in this review. You are not wrong to mention that the review is more or less in line with the object: it is clinical and impenetrable like "L' Apparenza" :) Jokes aside, I repeat that I don't really see all this impenetrability: from a graphic and musical point of view, everything is colder and more essential, but since one can also talk about impenetrability at a content level, regarding this latter aspect I'd say we find ourselves in a more favorable situation compared to DG: a title that means something, a theme of appearance that is consistently reflected in the songs, precise scenarios, like the theatrical one, much more precise than the pond with the shrimp of Madre Pennuta... and more. Icy perfection? Well, it's always the same lovable, haphazard album made by P-B.

Sure, don't be sneaky :) "I thought it was degrading to give a grade," and just before you say you forgot it! But come on... so, let's proceed in order, because there’s a ton of things to say...

Oops, I hadn't logged in...
Hello, my dear, the time has come to respond. First of all, I demand your assessment of this album, as I'd be happy if you were silent about the rating, but you certainly can't escape telling me whether you consider this work to be among the best, among the most successful, blah blah blah. Sure, it's compact and homogeneous (after all, I happened to say that mostly myself, so of course it is :D), but I don't understand how negative terms like "deaf" or "impermeable" can be applied here... explain. As far as I'm concerned, it's certainly less impenetrable than "Don Giovanni" (I'm still trying to figure out what the heck Mother Feather is), and as mentioned, the aforementioned linearity is an indicator of quality for me. For the rest, I have to critique your review a bit, because you're lazy and lethargic, and you can't just play the Pontius Pilate saying "Well, everyone understands whatever they want from one listen to the next," because no, I'm not on board with that; it might be true, but one reads this review and doesn't grasp what is inside an album like this which deserves a few more words, especially since, as mentioned, it seems to be a little less cryptic than Don Giovanni. So I'm waiting for you at the corner, ready to make you see that while the word may be apparent, it's not the only thing that is; circumstances, names, affections, existence—all of these are also such, and I believe Panella captures that. And the masterpiece is "Per Altri Motivi," perhaps of the entire B-P production. Ah, how lively I am, like someone who's silent.

But you know that I still miss the Davis stable? Of course, if Davis likes the girls, by transitivity I must like Davis too, but the complexity of the music of such an artist (ahem, I've seen the roughly 100-150 de-genres you threw at us for this live) deserves careful examination, coinciding with attentive listening. In due time. In the meantime, I'm getting the advice from Buoncostume through the precious reactionary link of the review... I see many lovely little plants, maybe they will give me some tips on how to grow basil at home.

Oh, finally this crappy review of Sig V, which, as you said, should appeal to me, but I want the Seimpols, I want them, yes, yes, yes, because the philippic is controversial: Loffredo imitates Gilmour, so should we say "well done, thanks"? I want to understand if they are copycats or fine interpreters. Seimpols, or no music store. Quick.

So, let's do it this way, I'll look for this album, but not for the review :)

Happy to have you as a fan, dear Psycho, we are honored to have more friends than foes. So, today the only institution with the power of the Inquisition is the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, chaired as you allude to by Joseph Ratzinger, the latest form of ecclesiastical assembly aimed at protecting the Church from potential heretical threats. This is a definition that is too broad: having a more traditional approach in 1542, when it was founded by Paul III, it is now a purely formal institution, without the repressive and inquisitorial character one might erroneously think. Regards.

And here’s Francesco Renga... let me tell you a sweet little story with a dad who's a bit of a mess, heart of a father, and a mom in tears, heart of a mother, on the Sanremo stage... there you go.

I fully endorse this. Once a certain Ripa di Meana, invited to the high society of the reality show "La Talpa," spoke about pornography regarding certain tears of a certain Nadia Rinaldi; well, those references in the review to certain people like Muniz and Costa, media monsters poorly forged by the worst of Maurizicostanzi or Simoneventure, make me think exactly of that episode, the pornography that is not so much the tear -for heaven's sake, quite debatable- of the Rinaldi of the moment, but rather the whole pathetic context of a television that glorifies the current Interrante, and why not, the current Ripa di Meana, subject and object tout court of the bad taste made in Italy. So, long live Muniz and Costa, and why not, down with Gambale and Arigliano, a bit of healthy outrage in this world.
