I don't know, Francy seems more refined to me. He’s quite confrontational too, to be honest. I've never read reviews with such a similar ending, I’m sincere, Punny. However, I agree that I could have been less banal in the quote, yes yes. But regarding the rest of the review, I don't find it banal at all: it would have definitely been more banal to trash this record (ehm, no reference intended, eh? ;D), I'm serious, because on Debaser, you know how it is, Italian light music doesn't enjoy, as you've probably noticed, the attention that much other music gets. Just think of how many duplicate reviews there are on Oasis (and especially their more recent work!), or Green Day, just to name a couple: it doesn't seem to me they're in the Olympus of the gods, yet look how much they’re talked about, and many even speak well of them, while on Bennato we barely reach six reviews, three of which are from the same user, and one, yours, that trashes his latest work. That seems a bit too few to me. "Burattino senza fili" seems to me an excellent work, and you will certainly agree. Yet still no review, compared to the 6-7 on "Don't Believe" by Oasis. In short, Italian music does not enjoy too much attention, nor much favor. And I think it’s fair to be able to talk about, and do it positively, a work like this. Just imagine how many here really know him: maybe to you and me who know him, these statements may seem clichéd, but I assure you that many people are reading this for the first time.

How rude you are!!! I might not be in great shape lately, but you, for goodness' sake, are really quite coarse these days. Holding grudges about grades, accusing others of saying "bullshit"... no, no, no, young man, that's not acceptable. You shouldn't behave like this at your age. These modern-day patriarchs really have their heads stuck in the clouds, rude and irresponsible. It's up to us kids to set them straight. Come on, mister, behave now, a kiss on the cheek, Bonomelli chamomile tea, and let it all go. And tonight when you go out with friends, if they offer you the keys, just have a little beer. But the one from Fisichella, okay, with low alcohol. Kisses

...Punny, my love! But I ask, why don’t you come to visit me in the guise of "francy," your lukewarm alter ego, just this once, because you always seem so grumpy? I mean, wait, have you read "politicized vaniloquy" and "stilted philippics" hundreds of times together with the closing? Yes? Really? And who was so cultured and refined? ;) Kisses

What ugly spaces in the links! Risana, darling. As for the rest, I’ve made just the right adjustments to my sheet for the blockheads like you, Mr. Giannarek (and where's AjejePinotto? Did you leave him behind? ;D) referring you to point 8 regarding the "value scales" issue, indeed. ;)

Regarding the issue of whether I would transfer the comments to the aforementioned review, I find it ridiculous, and I kindly invite you to read my comments on the reviews linked below ---> E' arrivato un bastimento - Edoardo Bennato - Recensione di cece65 Io che non sono l'imperatore - Edoardo Bennato - Recensione di Joe Perrillo <---
Note how I have long wanted to write about this album (the first comment dates back to May) and how enthusiastic I was about the possibility of doing it soon (response to Socrates, whom I hope to see around here): so it was an old passion of mine, I’ve done it now and you see, I don’t know what ghosts.

Oh, finally resurrected from the graves of forgetfulness, he has returned! WOW! ;) I don’t understand all this tirade. I am very fond of this album; I love it for the clear reasons mentioned above. It’s a real album. Bennato is a sincere singer, and in his work, he clearly expresses his point of view on "making music." You may not like this point of view, but it’s strikingly honest. Almost all modern music authors, in their music-making, presume to convey some profound message. Here, I make a comparison with Simone, who prides himself on being "committed": I considered this comparison because I read the article, and his arrogance got on my nerves, making me think immediately of someone like Bennato who has been doing something completely different for centuries. With great grace and charm. From that era, I could mention the beloved Battiato, De Gregori, Guccini, Nomadi... a lot of people who have been striving for years, often with results even better than those achieved by Bennato, to infuse social commitment into music. Bennato has never had that presumption, and in this good album, he made a sincere statement of his poetic vision. Musically, I also find it valid; it’s no coincidence that "Tutti insieme..." is a gem—go find an Italian pop singer capable of churning out a duet worthy of Rossini’s "Barbiere" in no time. I also like the fact that Bennato always uses excellent Italian in his records, especially in this one. As for the rest, feel free to give whatever mediocre to low ratings you want to the album or the review... of course, in light of what happened a couple of days ago, your discussions seem ridiculous to me, goodbye dear ;D
