Hi, beat, just an information that will help you understand quite a few things: Cool generally listens to crap music. Maybe this will be useful to you, I don’t know. Bye

On the other hand, this continuous exposure of the right-mafia ties makes me laugh a little when I think about how certain "historical" figures on the other side were equally linked to the octopus here in Terronia. It especially amuses me that there are so few people in this world who know that it was the great historical left of Giolitti and Crispi, through clientelism, that allowed this plague to flourish in our regions: who could guarantee the 20th-century left the votes of a southern population that knew nothing about the political affairs of the north? Rhetorical question. And just as the great lords of 20th-century left treated the political awakening of the south with indifference, today the charming journalist comrades enjoy making paternalistic representations of the south purely to throw mud on the opposing side: they should lend a concrete hand instead of conducting little inquiries like "But do you pay the protection money?" I would appreciate it much more. I eagerly await the elections. Maneuvers.

(...) In Palermo, there are indeed the realities of Pallavicino, S.Filippo Neri, Pagliarelli, but it’s certainly not a desolate landscape everywhere, full of peasants jumping on you with a shotgun pointed at you. Evidently, Santoro and company are keen to present this image (sometimes they've even distorted images to make things seem worse than they were in Sicily; there are ongoing investigations), and tourism declines even further as a result. In short, it’s just petty stuff that leads nowhere, predictable and prepared solely for the purpose of gaining consensus. Yes, Berluska, besides the points on his driving license, has done something good: for five years, he kept this rascal out of our hair.

Hey there, you were finally published then! :) That's a really good thing, as it allows me, being Sicilian, to contribute something at least interesting and personal. In short, I’ll be honest: a rather superfluous operation. Superfluous because it doesn’t add much to what is known and/or suspected about the alleged links between the mafia and politics in Sicily (focusing on Vasa-Vasa is like shooting at a target two meters in diameter from one meter away) and because, above all, it takes place due to what it really is: the usual maneuver to gain consensus during an election period by the left. We're always on the same page: on one side, the little person making their cumulative two hours of daily appearances on TV, and on the other, the "refined" and devious promotions of the right's discrediting by Santoro - who also personally presented the DVD, good luck to Vasa Vasa - and company. A job thus subservient to the usual old governmental squabbles, released, like Nanni Moretti's first TV show "Aprile" on RaiTre (really!), five years ago, coincidentally, on the eve of the upcoming elections. The usual shady maneuver orchestrated by that immense scoundrel Santoro, capable of depicting Sicily through his dreadful reports on Palermo and its surroundings as a place more steeped in the Middle Ages than it actually is, so that when I inevitably find myself chatting with people from the north who have seen these nonsense, I end up looking like an eternal underdeveloped individual.
Django Reinhardt Djangology

Was it a tribute? Well, it’s not that in the film Allen portrays the good Django in dark and negative shades, but the focus is on the eternal losers, the "seconds" (Emmet Ray) who live in the shadow of great contemporaries like Reinhardt. A mark of tender esteem for the small great authors forgotten by time. A great little film, a fantastic score, the usual monumental cinematography.

Mappeffavò, the album is cute, just poorly distributed. Too bad they don't mention the splendid "When I'm stanco" with its jazzy riff à la Davis. When I'm stanco I lose the controllo When I'm stanco I lose the controlllooooooohhhh... GREAT PRINCIPLES
