Emperor Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk

For me, they are both excellent albums, even though they are different. In "in nightside..," there is pure old-school black metal, while in "anthems..," you can taste a more "symphonic" black. For this reason, I find them not comparable to each other as they are characterized by different styles. Those who enjoy "true Norwegian black metal" will choose the first, while those who prefer more "orchestral" elements will appreciate the second... it's a matter of taste :-) I like both anyway!

No, I'm sorry, I don't know... similar to Ulver? Recommended album?

The cover is by the band's guitarist Mick Turner, who enjoys "painting" the sounds that characterize the group's albums. Anyway, the record can be found in online stores more or less...

not bad this album! but wait a moment… thanks to you I'm developing a bit of a culture around Italian rap (the only one I'm interested in because for me rap is all about the lyrics, and the English ones are quite tricky...) I've already listened to Odio Pieno (magnificent), Scienza Doppia H (so-so), SxM (great), and CRX (this one is good too). I already know well the three albums by Frankie... where should I go next???

Ocean songs is quite hard to find original... I've been looking for it for a long time and I think I'll order it from Amazon UK sooner or later! As for the split (you're talking about the "in the fishtank" sessions, I assume), nothing exceptional, although the two bands definitely seem made to play together, and some songs really feel like they were composed by a new group (a mix of the two) rather than being a mere "sound collaboration" (like the garbage Jay-Z and Linkin Park, to be clear). In short, worth a listen but not a must-have... (IMHO, obviously)
