New Order Waiting For The Sirens' Call

Wow! And I was just about to buy it. The previous Get Ready didn't seem bad at all to me. I'm afraid, though, that it's a somewhat biased (brief) review.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Take Them On, On Your Own

I have the first one, and it doesn't seem like much. Just another band in the crowd.
Tito Schipa Jr. Orfeo 9

Interesting album, although in my opinion it hasn't aged well. Perhaps it should be listened to alongside the visuals that accompany it. Alone, it doesn't say much. In short, you can feel that it’s a theatrical work, and it struggles to stand on its own. Nonetheless, it’s an ambitious project and deserves applause.
The Dears No Cities Left

I expected much more. Good album but certainly not a 5/5. Considering the current landscape, it's still a decent album. It’s true that the comparison with Morrissey is fitting, but the Smiths definitely had a different pace.
David Gray Flesh

I recently bought White Ladder and I must admit it's a great album. Now I need to get A New Day At Midnight and then maybe I'll work my way back. I've never understood why, in music, certain artists are so shamefully snubbed by critics while they elevate some blatant hot air balloons. I've always read very little about David Gray.
Peter Murphy Peter Murphy live@Bologna - ex Ruvido 08/07/2005

It's not clear whether you are familiar with Peter Murphy's solo work or not. He has always been an artist overlooked by critics. Yet, I find "Deep" from 1989 to be a formidable album. But even his immediately prior work was noteworthy. Lately, I've somewhat lost track of him. The concert organizers are probably incompetent. If Murphy has one quality to pass down to posterity, it's his voice. Absolutely off the charts. From what I read, you must have gotten wind of it from a little radio. What a shame.

The musical (and cultural) level of Queen fans is directly proportional to the musical quality of Queen themselves. What a shitty review!!!
The Dream Syndicate The Days Of Wine And Roses

Anyway, I think this isn't their debut. I seem to remember that before this they had done a mini.

One question: has Medicine Show ever been released on CD? I have the vinyl bought about fifteen years ago. True Paisley Underground.
The Coral The Invisible Invasion
Voto:
I haven't listened to this album, and to be honest, it doesn't really grab my attention. I heard their previous one, "Magic and Medicine," and I think it's a good album but not good enough to convince me to spend more on this latest effort. The review, then, deflates my interest even more. Anyway, Socrates, if you want to try to convince me with your own review, I'm here.
