AA.VV. ConGarbo
Voto:
Garbo is an artist who has a particular influence on me. In truth, I haven't followed him for a long time, but I never forget what he (and we) were given in the eighties. A born loser. A bit like Lloyd Cole, another love of my youth. Neither of them has received what they truly deserved. But the world is full of classy losers. Among the songs listed, I don't see MODERNI, which I believe was on Scortati. At the time, he even made a video for it. A serious oversight.

Let me understand something. On the Homepage, there are currently 8 of your reviews out of the 15 available. You have reviewed 8 albums that can only be described as niche, and all (more or less) from the same genre. You've only given one work 4 stars, while the others receive either 2 or 3. Do you think any newcomer would be inclined to approach such albums? Frankly, it's incomprehensible.
Mojave 3 Out Of Tune
Voto:
The only album by Mojave3 that I don’t own and have never listened to, having always read mixed reviews about it. Considering that Excuses For Travellers is a half masterpiece and that the latest one, Puzzles Like You, is one of my albums of the year, I think I really need to make up for it.
Gang Storie d'Italia
Voto:
This album is considered their peak, although personally I prefer "Le radici e le ali." Among the lyrics, you forgot to mention "Eurialo e Niso." A truly touching story. @bjork, if you want to hear something by the Clash, you should look to their early days when they were still singing in English. This is folk songwriting.
Arcade Fire Neon Bible

Everyone talks about it too positively. When expectations are high, often one ends up a bit disappointed. Let’s hope it’s not the case.
John Hiatt Bring the Family
Voto:
I've never been crazy about John Hiatt, but this album is definitely commendable. I remember that back then, Mucchio praised it to no end while Rockstar didn't even make the grade. As is almost always the case in these situations, the truth lies somewhere in between.
Sondre Lerche Phantom Punch

I've read quite a bit about this work everywhere. Just like I read good things about the previous Two Way Monologue, which, however, left me a bit cold. Too concise a reception.
Lenny Kravitz Mama Said

The last album I listened to was "5" and I didn't like it. That's where I stopped.
Lenny Kravitz Mama Said

In my opinion, at least in the early stages of his career (and here we are at the beginning), he was an original and credible character. Gradually, he lost his way. Let Love Rule is still a great album today. This one is slightly below that.
