Perfect, then!
I still keep a nice videotape recorded by mom RAI from 2-88 with James rehearsing with some of his collaborators, and an interview set against the backdrop of a less-known Naples, that of the housing projects in the suburbs.
Very beautiful.

Campaign...out of this world...no, we don't do things like that anymore around here...
Of course, if on TV during Domenica In instead of Nino D'Angelo and his dreadful heirs,
they invited James Senese and Enzo Avitabile...now that would be a revolution...

I don't know the album, but the comparison is maliciously grotesque. You could say a ton of things about this rapper, but what’s the point of comparing a 2000s rap song with a sentimental song from the '70s? When are we going to compare 38 Luglio with Pianto Antico?

"'Nutriente', Sanremo 2000, is one of the songs I have loved the most in the last 10 years."

I've never been a big fan of mango either, but I wouldn't throw everything off the tower. Mediterranean might be a bit too drenched in stereotypes, but it’s very beautiful. Monna Lisa is quite enjoyable, and her way of mixing a bit of Greece and a bit of Spain isn’t bad, in a landscape where everything stinks of stale, reheated Anglo-American.
Cristiano Malgioglio Le Donne Non Capiscono Gli Uomini

Cristiano, regardless of many things, all of which are certainly laughable, is primarily a great nostalgist. One of his standout pieces, 'Ciao Cara, Come Stai' from 1974, masterfully performed by Iva Zanicchi, is a shining example.

Dear Cece, the thing about FM is that the medium would actually be great in itself, but as we know, a station that wants to survive submissively accepts the boxes of CDs that the Record Labels send, as long as each CD has a minimum guaranteed number of spins... The majors then do the crocodile's trick when it gets downloaded from the web: what better advertising medium is there than a chain of stations that bombard the audience with the CDs imposed by the poor Record Labels... ...poor things... ...And we who always believed that the owners of FM Stations bought the discs with their own money, maybe the savings from music...

Obviously, Alchemist, in your city on the day of the rece there were high percentages of Barbera in the air: in 1969 there were already CDs: they didn’t tell us about the Tiggi'!

Bruno Lauzi Nostaljazz
Voto:
In 1986, at just 18 years old, while Madonna and other big names I can't even remember were performing, I bought a cassette from a festival stall: Numero Uno by Bruno Lauzi, in Genoese 'Genova per Noi', with the title track obviously being the song by Paolo Conte. My 18 years as an abnormal and deeply maladjusted kid: big syringes of 'O Scioco' and 'O Strassè', in a language where I understood maybe 5% of the words. What nostalgia for poor Bruno, of whom I also remember, among other things, two incredible TV themes: one from the '70s 'Il diritto più importante\è catena di montaggio\odia i tempi di lavoro\ogni giorno e ogni ora\qui dentro non c'è tempo\non c'è spazio per la gente\qui si marcia con le macchine\ci si perde in libertà\Vedrai com'è bello\lavorare con piacere\in una fabbrica di sogno\tutta luce e libertààà'. The other, from 1989-90, was the theme for an excellent documentary (a series of monographs) by Veronelli (the wine guy, who recently passed away too...) 'Il Briccofiore': 'Quel giorno al municipio di Ronchetta la banda di latta suonava per noi...etc.etc.'. His way of singing his songs by Battisti, considering his physique and that of Lucio, would then make one think of Uncle and Nephew... Madonna, what characters... All over (?)...

...still with De' Gregori...here the talented author of 'Bene' and 'Finestre di dolore' becomes annoying to me...
Good Francesco is becoming (against his will) the litmus test for nonsense and/or masterpieces
of too many artists and/or pseudo artists...
What a shame.
