You're right, RoccoDiGiovannantonioMoscufoPE. But do we want to get rid of this damn bull's head?
Lucio Battisti Il mio canto libero

some things by Battisti don’t bother me. the collaborations with Mussida and Di Cioccio, those blues accents he always managed to weave into his songs... definitely the peak of Italian pop music. like the Beatles, very underrated and overrated at the same time.

The album may not be the masterpiece of the T. (there's a certain Mr. Fantasy putting sticks in the wheels), but it's definitely a great album. And London is great too; the book is very well written, a bit melodramatic but shamelessly sincere, you said it right. L. gave his best in the stories: "farsi un fuoco" and "l'amore della vita" are among the best I've ever read, period. We really needed this.

There are talents out there, but the audience doesn't care and forces the market to stick to the usual names. In England, it's different; there are people who go and discover bands in pubs. "Le vibrazioni non suonano male." I know so many people who "don't sound bad"... why don't you listen to those who "sound good"? Or at least those who have something to say. Check out rockit.it...

I have listened to at least 2-3 songs from each of the albums (excluding soundtracks), and I can say that - some more (Rain Dogs) and some less (Closing Time) - they are ALL cool. He is definitely the musician with the highest quality/quantity ratio. Prolific and inspired.

no no, ThinWhiteDuke is right. In fact, Good Charlotte and The Calling sing in English and I love them. Actually, if they were Polish or Slovenian I would be tearing my hair out, exactly. Thank goodness they don’t sing in Italian.. long live English! long live supermarket music!
