The Beatles Revolver

It's obvious that he exaggerated about the Beatles; I don't agree with him either. However, he gives the right weight to people like Capt. Beefheart or Tim Buckley. And anyway, it's impossible to write all those reviews without throwing in some nonsense. The only truly outrageous thing are the rankings (Nick Cave the greatest songwriter of all time, Bonham 46th in the drummers ranking...)

By the way, if you haven't done it yet, get yourself the Dirty Mac sessions: Lennon, Clapton, Keith Richards (on bass, a surprise) and Mitch Mitchell. Plus a brief appearance by Hendrix. The album is basically impossible to find; I managed to download it with WinMX.

Damn iko, you're 30 years old... how can you still talk this nonsense? I review the albums I like, plain and simple. And if you don't like it, I don't care. Don't bother me, and I'm saying this once and for all because this is the last time I respond to messages like this.

"blues-man".. MUDDY WATERS is a bluesman.. anyway, JB is a great in every sense, he never resorts to flashy virtuosity for its own sake. It's a shame he has this reputation as a substitute for Jimmy Page.. he didn't get from show business what he deserved, or he didn't have enough character to take it. still, a great guitar.

good job yes, but nothing special. if it were worth as much as a hair from Duane Allman's ass, he’d be lucky
