Madonna The Confession Tour

I sent the review to a die-hard Madonna fan... and this is his response!! "They wonder why the 'madonnari' don't respond... But how can you reply to someone who criticizes without even having seen or heard the concert? If they hate the music... that's their problem... Then there's the one who talked about the decline of MADONNA... if the success of Confession is proof of decline... well, I think this person needs to pick up Zingarelli and look up the meaning of the word!!!! A world tour with about 50 concerts... always sold out (60,000 on average)... where you see an incredibly diverse audience (teenagers - moms - dads - people over 50 - gays - lesbians... - normal folks like me and Laura...) where you don't see a 'normal' concert but a show, a spectacle... where people are willing to go to Amsterdam for 4 days, where the ticket costs at least 100 euros.... etc.. etc... So to conclude, I believe that Ms. Ciccone deserves respect even from that fool who wrote that kind of 'review'!!!
Then maybe Madonna is like Juve... too strong!!! You either love her... or otherwise you hate her... there's no middle ground!" The verdict is yours!!

By the way, between the release of RATM and that of Evil Empire, I believe, if I remember correctly, it was about 4 or 5 years (it seems to me that the first one is from 1992 and the second one from 1995 or 96), so it's really hard to mix them up... I think in the early '90s you didn't even know who they were...

Beautiful album.. by the way, the singer and the drummer, founders of the band, are from Belfast, so they're Irish...

I consider the album in question a good product that, in its time, has seen quite a few turns in my player. One note: "It's been awhile" doesn't talk about a love that has ended at all, but rather about the singer's unhappy past when he was a drug addict...
