Marilyn Manson Antichrist Superstar

The only album by the Reverend that, in my humble opinion, is worth anything... at the time, a storm that swept through (with the sound, the look, the attitudes, the statements made by MM,...) the music world..
The Rasmus Dead Letters

The album in question contains some pleasant episodes, and I find it unfair to dismiss it entirely. Moreover, I’ve had the chance to see them live, and I can assure you that, unlike many bands that seem fantastic in the studio but fall flat live, they know what they’re doing and undoubtedly hold the stage well, playing appreciably...
Jay-Z and Linkin Park Collision Course

I absolutely loved LP with their debut album "Hybrid Theory," but with the follow-up "Meteora," they did nothing but repeat the previous album, softening it (don't you find shameless similarities between "In the End" from the first and "Somewhere I Belong" from the second? Or between "Crawling" from the first and "Easier to Run" from the second??). Then they flooded the market with an endless series of merchandise and various gadgets that even Britney Spears couldn't match... finally, they churned out albums that are nothing but commercial moves to grossly profit off the backs of music and unsuspecting listeners (see "Reanimation" and this latest "Collision Course") without even bothering to provide anything even remotely new. They've really sold out (what a shame because I actually liked their first work...).
Oasis (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Voto:
At the time, no group had managed to openly capture the Beatles' sound in a way that was still original, and why not, modern... For this reason, Oasis deserve some credit, even if over the years, they remained too much the same... what a pity!! Anyway, I believe that anyone who has hummed Wonderwall at least once in the shower knows just how much potential these "fantastic little songs for idiots" had...
Creed My Own Prison

In fact, it's from 1997; I read the first date at the bottom of the CD, which is probably the release date in Europe... at least I think so...
Staind Breack the Cycle

I only partially agree with the review... the monotony is indeed felt in the subsequent 14 shades of grey, but here we are still dealing with a pretty good album, a worthy compromise between power and melody, a balance that is not so easy to find in these genres... often one of the two sides prevails, excessively undermining the quality of the music, which I still find present in this work...
The Darkness Permission To Land

I saw them during an Open Air, and live they really rock!!! Great at playing, he’s great at singing, and especially at joking around with everyone and everything with some sketches (is that how you spell it???) between songs!! Other than that, I’ll hardly find myself on the couch listening to their CD...
Live Secret Samadhi

Indeed, Throwing Copper is a great album... it's hard to say which one is the best...
Papa Roach Getting Away With Murder
Voto:
I don't mind Papa Roach, but none of their albums have lived up to their debut work "Infest"...
Saybia These are the days

Hi Sandro, on the Saybia website you can also find the video for Bend the Rules.. also, I recommend getting their first work, The Second You Sleep, it’s really beautiful (I’ve reviewed that one too). Moreover, in March I saw them for the fourth time in concert in Zurich, and they played three songs that will be on the new album scheduled for September. Bye!
