I vote again... this is one of the few reviews that, over time, retains both freshness and a stench of shit at the same time.

"Take any Zeppa song with a solo, compare it to Pigs, and there you have a better solo"... okay... now I’m picking a song, any Zeppa song (as you say)... okay, I thought about it... how about Hot Dog??? Or Candy Store Rock??? Better than Pigs?? Come on... let’s not bang our heads against the wall... Take Jimmy's solo from "avanti" and compare it with Gilmour's final solo in Pigs... I think this time Jimmy might have lost his marbles... well, of course, I’m not denying Jimmy's greatness, but damn, just as I’m not denying Waters' greatness as a composer, belittling masterpieces is a whole different story, no no! That’s the point! And now I will talk about Pigs until you realize that this song belongs to the infamous hall of masterpieces!

Anyway, I don't agree that Stairway to Heaven is the masterpiece of all time. Why don't you try listening to The Diamond Sea by Sonic Youth or Dark Star by Grateful Dead? As for Led Zeppelin (and any other great band), I think this: they are legendary, but they are not the only ones.
