Madonna's album... the Carey is awesome, even if back then he was young and inexperienced, he was throwing shade at just about anyone (now he does it to everyone), there’s no Portnoy that can compare - I apologize for the rough comparison - Less refined and super galactic trippy than Lateralus, but they leave a mark, damn right they do!

There's no doubt that he's great, I've always defended him here on Debaser... but this album doesn't fully satisfy my Wyldian thirst... This winter I saw Anderson at the theater, here in Modena. The guy, despite the years, still bounces around in tights... he’s a cool dude.. and the voice, even though it sometimes lets him down, is still the same, just more mature. (I didn’t quite get what the hell they were doing, but the musicians accompanying him were all kids, heirs of ultra-Mauri groups, like Mr. Big and Extreme... the guitarist could have been Paul Gilbert's son).

This so-called folk is much more rock than many country records... to quote the eliii. The lovely Miss Carla Bruni would look good plunged into a sea of drenching... (I don't know if it's clear what I mean). Her Quelcu'un M'a Dit fundamentally awakens those synapses in me that are attuned to reproduction, which get anesthetized due to my prolonged use of DeBaser. Fortunately, there's "il Caz" here to remind us all that there is something better than music.... I'm off to pay a little visit to my friend the radiator...

I think "greatest hits" is synonymous with crap. It’s a blatant commercial operation, plain and simple. Especially for Pink Floyd, because taking a song here and there from their albums means destroying them. You can’t just listen to one song and that’s it. You listen to the whole album; even if it lasts 80 minutes, you sit down and don’t complain. It’s not like making a compilation with the "best" of Cesare Cremonini... where each (substitute for a) song is an end in itself and nothing more. For crying out loud, the PF albums have meaning... they are concepts! I agree with whoever said somewhere that the Floyd died after Pompeii...
