No... So, I agree with Vincent. This album is undoubtedly the most mature they've done (the term mature doesn't necessarily mean that it's also beautiful... beauty is subjective, I might like caili minog and someone else might find it terrible). However, be careful, as Josh himself says, the first half is the most immediate, catchy, where it feels like the songs were almost thought of in zero time... but the second half took much longer to be born. And it's true, Clito, it happened to me, the first time I listened to it, to say, "'Wow, but wasn't this song already in -R-??" I mean, you can't say that stoner is the least repetitive genre out there, for crying out loud, a stoner song is built on 4 different notes... it's obvious that it tends to repeat itself, but it's meant to be that way! It has to sound off! So... I like it, sftd remains first in the rankings but this one ends up in third place after R. Come on, guys, the last 30 minutes of the album are a journey! Finally, I would like to remind you that the album is titled "LULLABIES TO PARALYZE" not "DISCSUPERVIOLENTSPACCATIPANI," and Josh also said it was meant to be a calm album, what would be your hypothetical soundtrack for a night spent in the Californian desert among peyote, foxes, cacti, and sand.
