Cathedral Endtyme

Rooster, I consider "Endtyme" a great album, it may not be on the level of the early ones, but for me the worst album is "Seventh Coming"... I reviewed it because I have the original :-D Maybe I'll also review "Forest..."

Much more doom than Seventh Coming, less doom compared to Forest Of Equilibrium... I mean: they are matured Cathedral going back to their early sounds, in short.

Alright, I get it, you’re upset with me for the review I did for my friend's group, but it's not funerale ventoso, it's Venti Di Funerale.

Like a hyena? I’d rather get it on like a horse :-D PuntiniCaz the beat, I get it’s rap, but the main characteristic of rap is the rapped voice!!! If you take that away, what the hell do I have left of rap, a couple of balls! just some beats... that’s how I see it. I’ll get the Zion album; if you’re recommending it, then it’s a guarantee :-D

Sure! I haven't listened to Pornography yet, so I can't express myself.

Great Omeganex9999, you literally took the words right out of my mouth! :-D Anyway, Darksoul is also right on SOME points... Although the fact that he hates Dream makes his judgment less objective.

I'm sorry guys, I'm not 20 yet, I'm still in the True!! phase!! :-D Jokes aside, I believe I'll remain a metalhead at least until I'm 99 years old; I'll never join the family of reformed metalheads because metal has never disappointed me, and it never will, sorry. Sorry ZiOn, maybe it's my ignorance... Let me give you an example, I really like a track like "Dummy" by Portishead, but I just don't see rap in there... I mean, there's that singer with that sweet and soothing voice who sings in a very melodic way, what the hell is rap doing in there... If you’re referring to other works by the group, then it's me being ignorant, but I really don’t see rap in Portishead... Maybe the Massive are closer, but they have an approach to electronics that I don’t find in the rap groups I can't stand (you know, those from the American black ghettos). So, explain to me, where the hell is this rap... I still can't stand it, let alone the big family of rapping!;-) Anyway, I never said that Katatonia does doom, in fact, they have nothing to do with doom... That said, they remain a great band with balls! My Dying Bride, on the other hand, had doom metal as a foundation. I mean, they started from doom and created their own genre, mixing more gothic in some works and more death in others; in certain albums (like "Like Gods of the Sun"), there's no trace of doom... But I still consider them important for understanding the genre.
