My personal ranking of the album? 5+5+5+5+5 = +infinity. It's an immense album, I say it and I reiterate it, for me the best of the combo. There's no comparison with Blackwater Park (which is magnificent anyway), there isn't. Musically far superior, and it takes a lot to reach that. On "To Bid You Firewall," your judgment is EXTREMELY personal; I mean, it’s YOU who finds it "static," but apparently that's not the case for most who have listened to it... I don't understand this "staticity" you mention (or rather, I understand it partially); certainly, it's less intricate and more subdued, but is that a good enough reason to give it a 3??? That song is the cherry on top, the calm after the storm, the acoustic guitar and slowed-down drums (not static, those are two different things) to give a sense of serenity and enveloping calm to close out the album... What more did you want? For me, "Morningrise" couldn't have turned out better than how it was composed. I don't like your criticisms (because I don't share them), but they are legitimate and I accept them as they are reasoned, and you have reached your own point of view.

Excuse me, "I'm starting to doubt that you listened to it WITH THE DUE ATTENTION," I meant to say... I had a little lapse.

I'm sorry Salma, but I completely agree with Motenai... Some of your words seem forced, and I start to doubt that you actually listened to it... You’ve had a bit of an overdose, my dear; next time, dedicate an entire week to listening to such a complex album. Just personal opinions... That said, we live in a democratic country and your review is valid because it fully reflects your thoughts (which are legitimate). But I (along with many others...) do not agree.

However, to be really picky, the full title of the Winter album is "Into Darkness//Eternal Frost." I don't want to say something silly, but I seem to remember that they combined two previously released demos to form a unique album, which is also their only real discographic release. What a shame. Maybe I will review them.

Sure, I can't wait for it to come out, dear destroyer... As you can see, I also hold my own when it comes to musical culture, even if it's in a narrow range, that of metal (of course, I listen to a lot of music beyond metal, but in this field, I certainly have a good and greater experience compared to other genres). Anyway, you’re right, that album is really beautiful and I must admit that it has been a while since the Winters caught my attention and I wanted to listen to them, but I only managed to get my hands on them a couple of months ago!!! Just to stay on topic, I recommend you listen to "Talking To God," the latest album by the great FROST (that's right, that's the name of the band): calculated, atmospheric, and powerful extreme metal. Not exactly a masterpiece, but I'd still consider it. See you soon.

What a shitty review... it says nothing about the album, which deserves two thousand words. Cliff, get into horse racing.

Aniel, do not misunderstand my words: I said that, as far as I'm concerned, they are INNOVATORS, but not necessarily better in quality, although high (in fact, I still prefer Darkthrone to them), that's another story. Excuse me, Mr. Wreck, but could you have meant "Eternal FROST" by WINTER (a beautiful album), inadvertently reversing the names??? There is a band called Frost, and I really like them, but they do anything but doom/death... In any case, it would be out of place, no matter how icy, as it is stylistically distant from the genre in question (black). If you like, you can listen to the samples I specifically included, to get an idea (even though I believe they are quite insufficient for the purpose). Regarding everything else you've mentioned in your discussion, I fully agree with you. Let me conclude by emphasizing the subjectivity of my review, which does not guarantee your appreciation of the album. See you soon.

If I'm not mistaken, I had asked the dwarf about it in the past, but he did nothing. The fact is that I don't want to cancel it. But if people start chatting about it on the review, it's only natural that it gets under my skin. Anyway, don't worry...
