I deny it, the first snowfall in Bergen last winter was around mid-October (a strange event nonetheless), but the lakes hadn’t frozen yet and there's rarely strong wind, since Bergen is surrounded by mountains... and now I can’t even mention it because it just hits me with a huge nostalgia! :°°°°(

From what I've heard, they have a rather particular approach to the subject... with their music, they want to paint the "deepest evil" and consider Nazism an "evil" par excellence; to me, it sounds like fundamentally anti-Nazi statements... and then it's the usual story, maintaining an image gets people talking about you... that's showbiz folks!

I don't know the group, but the review is beautiful and enjoyable to read, compliments.
(no, it wasn't the pasta sentral, there the pizza costs too much and they didn't want to hire me :P... it was another place near the art faculty)

argghhh! Iko, you were doing so well and then you stumble on the last sentence? If I listen to this record and I don't like it, what do I do? I don't want to take that risk, I won't listen to it, I can’t afford the medical treatments.

Cliff, the album is beautiful... the 5/5 rating is well deserved, but your review... well, if I didn't already know DT, it certainly wouldn't convince me to check them out.
P.S. The sentence in Italian is taken from the film "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso."

wwwhatemoornet.. just kidding, I don’t know what face the mahyem have... but I suppose they did their shopping too. As for the Satyricon, I really did run into them in an Italian pizzeria with a Palestinian pizzaiolo (who was good though :P), and I often spotted the guy from Kings of Convenience at Kvarteret (the university café/pub). I was there from September 2002 to April 2003 and lived right near the little ancient church burnt down by Burzum (Fantoft Stave Kirke)... now rebuilt. Ahhhh, what nostalgia

wwwhatemoornet... but what idea do you have of Norway? all metalheads and pagans?... I lived for a while right in Bergen and I assure you that (besides meeting Mayhem at the fish market) there are many more hard rock or garage bands than metal there. Ha det bra min venn! :D

Yes tabba, your classification is correct, although the psychedelic component is also present in the first harder phase, and I would include the mini/demo "maiden voyage" as well. However, let’s not forget that in between these phases there are at least two crazinesses: The Tussler (great idea for the soundtrack of a non-existent Italian western film, oh and the added tracks in the new edition are only 5 it seems), and Barracuda (very hard-oriented but packed with orchestral elements). :)

Thank you, folks. What gives me immense pleasure is not so much the high grades in acting but the fact that many of you felt encouraged to discover this group; the more motorpsychics there are, the better! Hal, the final phrase ("the journey is still long") seemed perfectly fitting for the MPs, considering that the three types are in excellent compositional health and don’t hesitate to churn out new works (an album on average every year) and go on tour. Just on October 6, the mini "in the fishtank" was released with MP + Jaga Jazzist Horns (a jazz group that had already accompanied them on some dates of the 2001 tour)... and in January, the third roadwork (live) is expected, complete with a DVD... I'm already drooling :P°°°

mmm... in the copy I have (cd) the band's name is not on the cover but Warhol's name is in the bottom right corner, there's also the arrow "peel slowly and see" while the pink pulp is in the internal inlay (under the cd, in short)... whatever, who cares.
