What a boulder this album is! Even today, when I play it, it retains all its energy! Surely, 1991 was a historic year: DIRT (Alice in Chains), NEVERMIND (Nirvana), TEN (Pearl Jam), BADMOTORFINGER (Soundgarden), BLOODSUGARSEXMAGIK (RHCP), THE BLACK ALBUM by Metallica, GREEN MIND (Dinosaur Jr), LEAN INTO IT by Mr. Big, and I’ll also throw in a certain ACTHUNG BABY by U2... and I'm definitely forgetting a couple. But what was in the air during that time???

I listened to it a couple of times: truly pointless and predictable album, INNOCUOUS songs with riffs that are a compliment if you call them banal! No one was asking for another BADMOTORFINGER or EVIL EMPIRE, definitely not, but putting in a bit more effort to come up with some more ideas would have been nice... What a sad end!
