Nirvana Nevermind

Masterpiece? Overrated album? Epochal? Grunge? Pop? Breakthrough album? Derivative? Commercial? Seminal? Hoax? Everyone can share their opinion, especially since it will never please everyone. Meanwhile, the child in the photo has grown up, but his underwater photo will continue to proudly display itself on the shelves of every record store, willingly or unwillingly. 3 things: 1) The comparison Nirvana - Dream Theater, non-technical band/technical band has nothing to do with each other! They are two completely different worlds. 2) You didn't mention "Lounge Act"… bad! 3) "Breed" cute?? "Lithium" danceable?? no comment... the review is too didactic, but well-crafted.

Got it?? Just a few years ago, Billie Joe and company were singing about masturbation and sitting in front of the TV chugging cans of beer, and now they’re being interviewed to share their thoughts at LIVE 8 regarding the international situation. As if a complex topic like war could be summed up in their silly catchphrases! The further they go, the younger their audience seems to get (just go to their concerts to see for yourself), that has to mean something, right?

Even though "Dive" is sooo much better...

Great Giov! I couldn't remember "Rockin' Chair," but it's true they are practically similar at first. A band that comes to mind is that crap TRL with all those girls swooning over Billy Joe, how sad. Sold out. Totally sold out.
Pearl Jam Riot Act

Aside from the fact that Kiedis isn't pretending to be twenty, given that the last things he's done seem written by an eighty-year-old for how lifeless they are... anyway, even Pearl Jam have fired their best shots quite some time ago, unfortunately. It's true that they can't make another Ten or Versus, but there’s a lack of ideas here; everything sounds the same and has a bit too much of a "drag" feel to it... And unfortunately, I don’t see Vedder as being as sincere as he once was, but that’s just my impression...

I liked the first one quite a bit, nothing new, but it was enjoyable to listen to from start to finish. Believe it or not, the one that didn't convince me was the song "Ride.." with that overly simplistic chorus!! I hope the other songs are better than this one, otherwise they're in a bit of trouble... A catchy but pretty cover.

What can I say... this is certainly his "White Album", so much creativity that picking 2 or 3 tracks is practically impossible. Spectacular production that has held up wonderfully over time. Great job!

I completely agree with the reviewer! This album is a total drag...

Rebel, I would say you’re ready to review "Octavarium"! It’s a must-do...

I really like it, both the reception and the CD in question. It took me a while to appreciate it, but that happens to me with all his works, and in the end, it’s one of those I’m listening to the most this summer! I’m also a huge fan of "Black Devil Car" and "Hot Tequila Brown." I know I could be arrested for heresy, but I prefer Jamiroquai in the carefree disco vibes of the last two works, compared to, for example, "Space Cowboy," which, aside from a couple of songs, I find indigestible, but that’s just my point of view!
