Prefuse 73 One Word Extinguisher

Scott Harren, the standard-bearer of glitch-hop. "Busy Signal" is a masterpiece, "Chocking You" too. Not to mention the title track. And it drives me crazy how he manages to change in one of the 2 bonus tracks, creating a "journey" of two minutes, at the end of which there's a round of applause. Masterful. "Surrounded" inspires me less, too many collaborations. And what do the books have to do with it?!

MUtsumi is the wife of Maurice Fulton, the producer of this record and the one just released: "out of breach," for which MU says she drew inspiration from nothing, just the verses of animals... :\

this is an interesting group that I should explore further. I'm crazy about ambitious projects. I had heard "Koda" being referred to as a masterpiece.

Let's be honest, Daft Punk have always had an eye for the masses, but only when it comes to the singles. The albums contained more complex pieces than the singles (see the vomit-inducing "One More Time" or the "cute but nothing more" "Around the World"). This, on the other hand, is an album entirely for the masses, for people in a hurry. I really liked Zingales' article, which says that they've completely pulled a fast one on everyone with this nonsense, giving today’s society (of downloading and thus superficiality) exactly what suits it best. Anyway, I took a look at some foreign review sites and saw that I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Here in Italy, though, everyone is praising it. Who knows... once again, de gustibus.

I don't even look at the anonymous ones. In my opinion, Discovery was muuuuuch more brilliant than this. At first, it disgusted me because my ears weren't prepared... then it actually exploded. I find Aerodynamic way more "rock" than any piece of Human After All. The nursery rhyme for robot kids of Harder Better Faster Stronger, the pastel sunset super kitsch pop of Digital Love, and the courage of Short Circuit. Here everything bores me, aside from the first two. As you say: de gustibus.

Cute unicorns, but the Fiery Furnaces are on another planet. Maybe you're right about the excessive length, but boring? Not at all; in fact, they have the effect of 16 coffees. It's an album that requires patient listening, until you know the tracks well and get in sync with them.

I think "robot rock" is one of the worst. I find it an extremely predictable track from a band famous for their "innovation." I'm sorry that you think this is an ignorant genre to get people moving. In reality, most of the dance material (a definition that I really can't stand) is just like that... but Daft Punk have an edge and a personal aesthetic that makes them lovable. That's exactly why I was disappointed, because I love them.

Thank you. I made a mistake: the piece I meant is not "chief inspector blancheflower," but "mason city."
