And how can you not like a piece called "flow my tears the spider said"? where, among other things, a nursery rhyme like those sung by children in "nightmare," a family organ, and birdsong are mixed together?

LiarS. I don't know the first one, but I had heard it was more punk-funk. The second one, "they were wrong so we drowned," mixes heavily distorted riffs, meows, tribal percussion, thunderstorms, and vocals that feel like nursery rhymes from a satanic mass. To say they are genius is to say little. For me, it’s on the podium of the albums from 2004.

As a kid, I was crazy for America, okay "I envy the blacks who are born in Louisiana, in stars and stripes I'd dress, I was born by mistake, outside your boundaries, where are you? iu es eeeeeei, where are you?

Yes, calling it a re-evaluation of the '80s is really limiting. They mix noise, industrial, and witchcraft. All topped off with some truly ridiculous electronics. Far from '80s... I'm talking about the second album, by the way, not the first. But were you born in the '80s? I thought you were older, kiddo.

Well, I know the name well, that's something :) and then you shut up, since you don't even know those geniuses, the Liars.

The sense of adventure they had in Music for... you won't find it here. That was progressive techno. There, there was experimentation. If it had been as beautiful as Music for..., they wouldn't have sent the videos into heavy rotation on MTV; people wouldn't have understood it. People want catchy, easy melodies; it doesn't matter if it's sugary pop or punk, the principle is the same. I repeat, for me the only worthy ones are Narayan and Climbatize. The rest is crap. See, damn, do we always think the same? Why don't you want to move in with me?

I had listened to it a few months ago, but it didn't strike me on the first listen. It seemed boring. Maybe now I would like it.

No, look, I came from that bomb that was music for... and when I heard this was coming out, I got all excited. Then I heard those crossover crap... oh my god, how they ruined themselves. Bye bye ecstasy generation. Here, there’s only that crap from Keith Flint, the ruin of the group, who raps and sings a bit about everything. And then the electronic tracks... breathe, smack my bitch up, firestarter... all simple stuff for the average rebellious MTV listener, who makes fun of those who listen to "pop" stuff like the blue, convinced that this is alternative. Oh my dear, acid techno suites like claustrophobic sting, skylined, break & enter, speedway, full throttle are nowhere to be found. Just silly stuff from middle school parties where you have to break everything until the parents are out and don’t bug you. When I came out I was already 18 and I was kind of aware of this; Zion, I think if you had been a bit older back then, you’d share my opinion. Then it's obvious that now it plays a part that you’re fond of it.

this album is tickling. in agreement with enkriko. from here on, the descent of the prodigy. it’s clear that this was the first prodigy album to hit MTV since everyone loves it and it slays for all. maybe because you haven't listened to music for the jilted generation, which is an entire notch above, to say the least. only narayan and climbatize are worth saving.

kosmo I'm coming too if you invite him. I'll bring the pastries, because if he's that big softie on the cover of ultravisitor... I bet he really likes pastries.
